EFL Transfer Rumours

Derby County Interested In Todd Kane

Derby County are one of a number of clubs keen to sign free agent Todd Kane, according to Peter O’Rourke of Football Insider.

Kane was recently released by Chelsea after eight years at Stamford Bridge. He is commanding interest from Derby as well as Aston Villa, Fulham and Sheffield United. As a result, a battle could commence for his signature.

The 25-year-old failed to make a single appearance for Chelsea. Instead, he was one of a number of players who were regularly loaned out. Last season he was loaned to Hull City, where he made 41 appearances.

Nottingham Forest Players To Move To Sister Club?

According to Alan Nixon of The Sun, Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis is looking to move players to his other club Olympiacos in Greece.

Marinakis has owned Olympiacos since 2010 and Nottingham Forest since 2017. Last season Forest missed out on the play-offs by eight points, finishing ninth.

Two players were named by Nixon on his personal Twitter profile. Both Joao Carvalho and Hillal Soudani moved to the City Ground last summer. However, both had relatively unsuccessful seasons.

Jason Pearce Attracting Sunderland Interest?

After denying them a return to the Championship at the first attempt, Charlton’s Jason Pearce is attracting interest from Sunderland. This is according to Craig Johns of the Sunderland Chronicle.

Pearce made 26 appearances for Charlton last season as they sealed their return to the Championship. He scored two goals and also registered an assist.

However, Sunderland are not the only club keen to sign Pearce. Portsmouth and Oxford United are chasing the 31-year-old signature.
