Jordan Willis to Stay at Coventry City?

According to Andy Turner of Coventry Live, Jordan Willis is yet to confirm his future plans at the club. Mark Robins is reportedly still willing to offer the 24-year-old a contract. He is currently set to run down his contract and sign for a plethora of clubs on a free transfer.

“We haven’t had an answer,” Robins said. “The offer is still on the table but obviously as we sign players then the option probably disappears.” He then added; “We can’t wait for him so if we sign further players then the option might go away.” When asked the all-important question of stay or go, Robins was relatively placid. “I wouldn’t rule it out either way but the longer it goes on the less chance there is of it happening.”

The Sky Blues currently have four centre-backs including Willis, with two spots to compete for. They recently bolstered this number with Kyle McFadzean‘s transfer from Burton.

Mark Little to Bolton Wanderers

Bristol Rovers have completed the signing of Mark Little on a free transfer from Bolton, according to the BBC. On the official club website, Graham Coughlan said; “Mark is a player that should be playing at a higher level, he adds good quality and is a real all-rounder so we are delighted to bring him to the club.” He then highlighted the “two promotions” he has had with Peterborough and also, interestingly, Bristol City.

The 30-year-old right-back has plenty of experience indeed having played in every league from the Championship to League Two. He should provide much-needed reinforcement for a paltry campaign that saw Rovers finish 13th in League One.

Kyle Knoyle ‘Probably’ To Leave Swindon Town

As per Andrew Georgeson of Cambridge News, Cambridge United target Kyle Knoyle is unlikely to be staying at Swindon Town. “I think Kyle will probably be moving on,” said Wellens to the Swindon Advertiser. Despite winning supporters player of the year, Knoyle looks to be leaving having not yet signed his contract.

So far, the ‘U’s’ have made two summer transfers, including forward Harvey Nibbs and midfielder Luke Hannant. The club now pursues a defender and right-back in Knoyle. Since leaving West Ham, graduating from their academy, he has currently made 60 appearances for Swindon Town.
