Spurs Closing in on Ryan Sessegnon

Tottenham are set to start their summer transfer business early report the Mail. Their first signing could be Fulham’s 18-year-old Ryan Sessegnon. Fulham value their young star at £40 million; however, Spurs want to pay £25 million. A middle ground is expected to be reached for the deal to be concluded as soon as possible.

A tough season for Fulham saw the club relegated after one season in the Premier League. Several of the players signed ahead of the season are expected to leave as well as Sessegnon. The winger who can also play as a left-back or wing-back burst onto the scene as during Fulham’s promotion season.

His stunning performances and goals put him on the radar of many clubs. His first season in the top-flight proved difficult; however, he is now set to stay under the tutelage of Mauricio Pochettino.

Bale to Return to London?

Staying with Tottenham, Real Madrid are set to offer them their former favourite on loan. The Sun report that Madrid will offer Spurs Gareth Bale on loan for £10 million. Welsh international Bale left Spurs in 2013 for a then-record fee of £86 million. The forward is reportedly out-of-favour with Zinedine Zidane and can leave.

Bale currently earns £600,000 per week in Spain. Madrid are reportedly willing to pay half of this should he leave on loan. Real fans are also eager to see Bale leave with many saying he should be sold this summer. Should he return to Spurs, it is highly likely that he would be welcomed back with open arms.

Koulibaly is United’s Number One Target

Several new defenders are expected to arrive at Old Trafford. Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer about to begin the task of overhauling his squad. Their number one target is Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly according to the Mirror.

27-year-old Koulibaly is seen as one of the best in the world. His fee, therefore, is likely to break the record paid for a defender. Napoli insist Koulibaly is not for say; however, this is unlikely to stop United from pursuing the man they want most of all this summer.

Liverpool Eye Maxi Gomez

The Guardian report that Liverpool are prepared to meet the release clause of striker Maxi Gomez. The Celta Viga striker has a contract which includes a £43 million release clause. Liverpool could have competition with Tottenham and several others looking at the Uruguayan.

Gomez has impressed this season despite Celta Vigo struggling at the wrong end of the table. Vigo look set to survive and it is mainly thanks to the goals scored by Gomez. At 22-year-old, he could prove to be an excellent piece of business.
