Champions or Change?

SCU has been on quite a tear since the tail-end of last year. And last week on Blood and Guts, Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian secured a championship match with The Young Bucks after winning a Four-corners tag team bout to crown the number one contenders. But this isn’t just a normal title match for Daniels and Kazarian. Because if they win they’re once again tag team champions. But if they lose, as promised they will have to disband as a duo. This proclamation ultimately led to them stepping up their game as of late. It lit a fire in the veteran duo to keep winning and to do much better.

The Bucks on the other hand have been dominating with their newfound attitudes. They have been victimizing and obliterating those who dare stand across the ring from them. Under the guidance of Don Callis, Matt and Nick have breathed some new energy into their competitive edge. And they have this new philosophy of “win at all cost”. SCU will have a hard time dethroning the champions. But with what’s on the line you just know Frankie and Christopher will do whatever it takes. Can Daniels and Kaz take it to another level and win the championships? Or will Matt and Nick Jackson be the ones to end SCU’s amazing run as a tag team and in the process retain their world tag titles?

May The Best Man Win

Miro has put every one of AEW’s champions on notice. If you have a championship around your waist, “The Best Man” wants it. The brute ultimately has his eyes set on capturing the TNT Championship and beating Darby Allin. Due to the actions of “All Ego” Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky, Darby will most likely be not a hundred percent for this title bout. Anyone who was tossed off atop of a staircase wouldn’t be. But everybody knows you don’t doubt Allin’s fighting spirit. Allin is referred to as “The Man Who Isn’t Afraid to Die” and he will go through hell and back just to try. He will crawl and claw his way into a victory if that’s what it takes. Darby Allin has gone too far and fought too hard to give up now. And with Sting by his side, he just might have a lot of fight left in him as always.

It will be, by no means, an easy task. Miro has been on a total rampage. The Bulgarian is hellbent on destruction and capturing the belt. And you just know it won’t be long until Miro gets what he wants if he has anything to say about it. It’s the man who isn’t afraid of dying versus the man who isn’t afraid. Who will come out on top? Will Darby find it in himself yet again and scrape by with his title intact? Or will Miro finally achieve his vindication and get his first taste of gold in All Elite Wrestling?

Blue Justice against The Death Rider

Yuji Nagata makes his AEW debut and in a big way. He will be challenging the IWGP U.S. Heavyweight Champion  Jon Moxley in what is expected to be an epic counter. The Japanese legend has answered the call and Moxley did not like the answer one bit. Mox wants to slay a legend and Nagata wants to prove why he is still one of the best to this day. These two have gone back and forth constantly rattling each other’s cages en route to their U.S. Heavyweight championship match. Nagata has stated Jon is just an arrogant kid who bit off more than he could chew laying down the challenge as he did. While Mox says, while he has much respect for Yuji, that he is not backing down one bit.

Nagata steps into Moxley’s wheelhouse in the hopes of winning a title that has eluded him. But if anyone has even a passing knowledge of Jon Moxley, they will have to absolutely mangle him and take the championship away from his cold lifeless hands. It’s the Legend versus the Best in the World. Blue Justice versus Death Rider. Will Yuji Nagata win the prize in his return to TNT after 23 years and put the youngster in his place? Or will Moxley defeat an Icon and secure, not only his title but legacy?
