Madi Wrenkowski vs. Queen Aminata
“Miss Reality” Madi Wrenkowski may not have been successful in her quest for the MPW Championship, but she hasn’t been sitting idly by stewing in defeat. Stepping in for the injured Anna Jay, Wrenkowski competed in the American half of the AEW World Women’s Title Eliminator tournament. Sadly she fell to Dr. Britt Baker, DMD, in the first round. Following that, she’s picked up two wins over Leva Bates and Vert Vixen. Here she will face a queen, Queen Aminata making her MPW debut at Empty Promises. She is a three-year pro out of the Ohio Pro Wrestling Academy. Aminata also spent some time in Japan training under Chigusa Nagayo. She is also the current Generation Championship Wrestling Women’s Champion, winning the Diamond Cup tournament in December 2020.
Masha Slamovich vs. “Legit” Leyla Hirsch
In what could very well steal the show, Masha Slamovich and the latest AEW signee “Legit” Leyla Hirsch will clash. At Empty Promises, this will be a first-time-ever encounter. These two women are hot rising stars. Masha is coming off her incredible tour in Japan while Leyla has been turning heads in AEW. At Wishes Granted, Masha destroyed Black Widow and now is daring whoever would like to step in the ring with her. Never one to back down from any sort of fight, Leyla will certainly give Masha a run for her proverbial money.
Mission Pro Wrestling Championship Match
La Rosa Negra (c) vs. Raychell Rose
The ruler and lady of House Rose, Raychell Rose, is tired of waiting for her opportunity at the Mission Pro Wrestling Championship. That’s why after Wishes Granted, she threw down the gauntlet and challenged La Rosa Negra for a dance at Empty Promises. She has put together quite the series of wins in MPW, defeating Vanity, Blair Onyx, and Promise Braxton. Raychell Rose also recently became the inaugural New Texas Pro Wrestling Women’s Champion. La Rosa Negra will have a tall order on her hands as her opponent is determined to make her bend the knee. However, the well-traveled veteran is no stranger to young upstarts claiming they would make her bow. La Abusadora has proudly defended her hard-fought title against Madi Wrenkowski and now will take on Raychell Rose with her usual poise and grace.
If you are unable to attend Empty Promises in person, it will be streaming live and later available on-demand on the Title Match Wrestling Network. You can also enjoy all of MPW’s back catalog of shows on their network.
