“Legit” Leyla Hirsch is All Elite

Legit Leyla Hirsch All Elite

It has been made official. Earlier today, the first episode of AEW Dark: Elevation aired. Just before the show went live on the All Elite Wrestling YouTube channel, AEW President and CEO Tony Khan took to Twitter to make a big announcement. “Legit” Leyla Hirsch, who has made multiple appearances for the company in recent months, has just been signed. As of today, the “Legit” star is All Elite.

Prior to becoming a professional wrestler, “Legit” Leyla Hirsch wrestled on the amateur level during high school. It wasn’t until 2017 that Hirsch began her training to become pro. She trained at the Combat Zone Wrestling Academy. From there, she began to appear on multiple episodes of CZW Dojo Wars, working with the likes of El Cheapo and Dojo DEEJ. The following year, Hirsch began to ply her craft in other organizations, including Queens of Combat and Women Superstars Uncensored.

In January of 2020, “Legit” Leyla Hirsch took her skills internationally when she joined World Wonder Ring Stardom. It was in Stardom where she became a member of Tokyo Cyber Squad, teaming with fellow members Konami, Ruaka, Jungle Kyona, and Hana Kimura. Her first post appearance, post-COVID, took place in Game Changer Wrestling in October. She competed at the Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport 3 event, participating in the Women’s Tournament, where she lost to Lindsay Snow in one of the opening bouts.

Later in the month, Hirsch made her first appearance for All Elite Wrestling on AEW Dark. She competed against, and had a solid showing with, AEW Women’s World Champion Hikaru Shida. During the same month, she made her first AEW Dynamite appearance, challenging Serena Deeb for the NWA World Women’s Championship. This isn’t to say that the “Legit” AEW star has been without victories. During her short time in the promotion, she has picked up wins over Tesha Price and Madi Wrenkowski, just to name a few up-and-comers.
