AEW see a lot of potential in Top Flight
Top Flight will be in action again this week, this time facing independent wrestling veterans AJ Kirsch and KC Navarro. AEW clearly sees a bright future for the Top Flight team by making their debut on AEW Dynamite against the Young Buck. It was even mentioned on that Dynamite episode that they got that opportunity by sending footage of their work directly to Matt Jackson himself, who said the young team from Minneapolis reminded him of a young Young Bucks. With that kind of potential on the horizon, it is no surprise that AEW is putting them in the ring with as many veterans as possible, facing Luther(and Serpentico) last week and facing AJ Kirsch and KC Navarro this week, to get them as much experience as possible.
Possible Cinematic Match on AEW Dark?
In a match that has had a lot of attention on Being the Elite, Dark will have a match comparable to the new Godzilla vs King Kong movie when Luchasaurus will face Brandon Culter in a match that is being billed as a “Dinosaur vs Dragon” match! With this match’s origins starting on Being the Elite one has to wonder if this bout will be a cinematic match, which would be something of a rarity for the Tuesday show.
Lucha Bros. Rebound
In another big match, the Lucha Brothers will be making their 2021 AEW Dark debut where the team will face Chaos Project. Penta and Fenix’s last match together was on Dynamite when they lost a six-man tag match against the team of Eddie Kingston, The Butcher, and The Blade, while Luther and Serpentico also lost the last match last week on AEW Dark against newcomers Top Flight. Both will be wanting to avenge their defeats this week on AEW Dark.
