The fallout from Turning Point continues this week on IMPACT! On AXS TV as we will have a world championship match between Rich Swann and Ken Shamrock, there are two surprises on the show too as we will find out who the “phenomenal” opponent for Ethan Page is, and the mystery partner of Jordynne Grace. Let’s preview the action.
Ethan Page vs A Phenomenal Opponent
The Good Brothers have been very wink wink nudge nudge on Page’s opponent and the idea is surely that fans are meant to believe that we will see AJ Styles show up as Page’s opponent. Knowing the Good Brothers this is likely a rib on Page and we could see them go the comedy route to enrage Page.
Jordynne Grace’s Mystery Partner
The Knockouts Tag Team Title Tournament is underway but Jordynne Grace does not yet have an official partner. She has been dropping hints as to her partners identity but fans are still unsure of who it is. Some have speculated it’s former PAWG teammate Lufisto, others think it’s former KO tag champion Taylor Wilde, some have gone even crazier with Tara. Whoever it is we’re sure they’ll be a welcome addition to the division and the tournament.
Johnny Swinger Is Taken To Wrestler’s Court
Johnny Swinger will be taken to wrestler’s court as he is accused of shooting John E. Bravo. IMPACT has really embraced this sort of silliness and meta content in recent months and Swinger is the perfect guy for segments like this. The saga of who shot Bravo is far from over so he won’t be charged with the killing just yet.
IMPACT World Championship: Rich Swann (C) vs Ken Shamrock W/ Sami Callihan
Rich Swann has not had an easy start to life as the IMPACT Champion. Last week after saying goodbye to The Rascalz we saw Shamrock and Callihan attack the group. Now Shamrock will challenge for the IMPACT title after a string of wins. The imposing duo of Eric Young and Joe Doering is waiting in the shadows so we may see them turn their attention back to Swann soon.
