Preview: WWE – Monday Night RAW (10/26/2020)

RAW

The weeks keep flying by.  WWE‘s flagship show returns once more.  Fresh off the heels of a RAW that saw Mustafa Ali‘s Retribution defeated, a Keith Lee/Braun Strowman match ended in controversy and the end of Lana‘s hopes of capturing a first championship, RAW has some work to do.  Additionally, there is the fallout from Hell in a Cell.  As always with a PPV, the landscape has been changed and there is much to discuss.  Many believed last week’s RAW was very forgettable, which is a shame.  SmackDown has been in form for weeks now, so RAW must improve.  So, does the red brand have a show that offers chance of improvement this week? Let’s find out!

Elias and Jeff Hardy

Last week, Elias continued to accuse Jeff Hardy of being responsible for the hit and run incident a few months back.  In response, Jeff Hardy swung an electric guitar at his head.  Thankfully, he missed.  It is time for both men to face the music and realize there’s more that unites them than divides them.  The feud is silly and no more words are necessary in a rivalry where neither man is responsible for the other’s misfortunes.

Braun Strowman and Keith Lee Feud to Continue

Last week, we were promised monster mayhem, with Keith Lee meeting Braun Strowman in the ring.  This time, with thanks to a low blow, Strowman was successful.  Given the defeat and, quite frankly, the manner of it, Lee will be looking for revenge.  As mentioned in the preview last week, this feud benefits neither man.  Since debuting, Keith Lee’s limitless potential has been squandered by WWE booking.  Meanwhile, Strowman has been ice cold for months now.  Lee is far less damaged goods right now and has all the tools necessary to be a bonified star in the company, so hopefully he can pull off a big victory over Strowman soon.

Randy Orton to Celebrate Hell in a Cell Victory

Randy Orton pulled off an upset at Hell in a Cell.  Widely expected to put over Drew McIntyre once more, the Legend Killer found a way to overcome his Scottish adversary and reclaim the WWE Championship for a tenth time.  No doubt, the Legend Killer will want to celebrate his success on this coming RAW; to reign in a new era for RAW.  Of course, McIntyre will be looking for revenge and an opportunity to win back his championship.  Expect Orton to deny his demands.  Additionally, The Miz won the Money in the Bank briefcase from Otis last night.  With the help from John Morrison and new ally, Tucker, Miz might have all the tools necessary to complete a successful cash-in on Orton in the near future.  Orton will be threatening Miz and warning him to stay away.

The Fiend and Alexa Bliss to Appear

With The Fiend taking out RETRIBUTION just last week, it appears he’s currently leaning towards the “heal” of his “hurt” and “heal” split personality.  He is probably about to enter into a feud with the revolutionary RETRIBUTION, but it should be noted, also, that Fiend has plenty of history with RAW’s new top champion.  Can we expect something resembling a feud between Randy Orton and The Fiend? Tune in to find out.
