To say that the landscape of the UWN World Championship Tournament is unique would be something of an understatement. Despite a number of these men being consistent performers on UWN programming, they are also well-known for their work in other promotions. Case and point, Chris Dickinson, who is considered one of the favorites going into this tournament, has been a relative regular for Game Changer Wrestling, appearing for their various events. Until recently, Davey Boy Smith Jr. was a stalwart for Major League Wrestling, even winning the revived Opera Cup. Peter Avalon may be the most well-known given that he is currently signed with All Elite Wrestling, mostly competing on AEW Dark.
These are just a few examples, but they speak volumes about the landscape of the UWN World Championship Tournament. With such a unique landscape, the title can be anyone’s to take. The tournament is set to take place on UWN Primetime Live soon.
