Another exciting edition of the newest weekly up-and-coming wrestling phenomenon premiers this Tuesday, as the partnership between the National Wrestling Alliance and the United Wrestling Network continues strong. With the pandemic stifling the momentum the NWA created for itself (its revolutionary Powerrr series being put on halt after less than a year of existence), the stars and champions of the company are gradually making their way back into the limelight via Primetime Live.
However, it is important not to ignore the amazing talent that the UWN has to offer, such as the dominant force known as the “Dirty Daddy” Chris Dickinson, looking to continue his winning streak. A partnership with Future Stars of Wrestling also seems to be a priority of the UWN, with the FSW Women’s Champion making her Primetime Live debut with a defense against Vipress.
Here’s the rundown of what to expect on Tuesday:
Zicky Dice and a Mystery Partner vs. The Pope and Watts
Zicky Dice hasn’t been seen in action much since winning the NWA Television Title from Ricky Starks back in March, due to the NWA’s temporary closure and his own personal shortcomings. However, Dice looks to make his debut for Primetime Live in a tag team match against The Pope and Watts. His partner has yet to announced and is definitely cause for speculation as to who the UWN sees as an exciting “mystery partner”.
It will also be interesting to see how “ring rust” plays into this match. Zicky Dice has been spending a lot of time promoting himself through stream labs and various other multimedia platforms whilst not on a heavy schedule of competition. The Pope has also not been in seen action in a while. The former WWE star made his debut in the NWA earlier this year and was last seen in a feud with Eddie Kingston (now officially signed with AEW). Meanwhile, Watts has a lot to prove in this match, coming off a loss to Eli Drake on episode 2 of Primetime Live.

Max Caster vs. Chris Dickinson
“Platinum” Max Caster took to his twitter to perform a freestyle diss against Chris Dickinson, telling him that “I ain’t dirty but you can call me daddy.” Dickinson was not impressed with Caster’s bars and called him out, dismissing the authority of Billy Corgan for not giving him better competition. He assured Castor that he will not make a name for himself on Dickinson’s account.
Dickinson has been on a streak since the inception of Primetime Live, having already defeated Jordan Cruz and Anthony Idol in pretty decisive fashion. This will be Castor’s first appearance on Primetime Live. It will be interesting to see if the Create-A-Pro Wrestling Academy student can back up his scathing verses against the dominant Dirty Daddy.

FSW Women’s Championship – Lacey Ryan (c) vs. “The Serpent of Evil” Vipress
The United Wrestling Network announced its new partnership with the Future Stars of Wrestling promotion on September 24th via Twitter. This match appears to be a huge part of the commitment to showcase the stars of the Las Vegas-based brand strong. FSW also announced, on October 3rd, the return of Future Stars of Women’s Wrestling for late in November. This match against Vipress will be crucial in making sure that Ryan remains the face of the women’s division come the FSWW’s return.
“The Unstoppable” Lacey Ryan dethroned IMPACT star Taya Valkyrie for the FSW Women’s Championship on September 29th, 2019, and has been a fighting champion ever since. However, despite having held her title for over a year, she may have a chip on her shoulder coming into this match. Her last big performance ended in defeat against then IMPACT World Champion Tessa Blanchard back in March. She will assuredly have her work cut out for her in defending against Vipress, who, although only having debuted professionally in 2018, has been dominant in recent weeks in Championship Wrestling. Will Ryan continue her dominant reign as champion, or will she be forced to tap out from the constricting lock of the “Serpent of Evil”?
