Sammii Jayne has been one of the biggest names on the Fierce Females roster since debuting with the promotion back in 2013, going on to face the likes of Kay Lee Ray, Nixon Newell (now Tegan Nox), and Nikki Storm (now Nikki Cross) during her time with the company. Away from the all-female promotion, Sammii was no stranger to holding championship gold, holding the Women’s Championships in Discovery Wrestling (DW), Main Event Wrestling (MEW), and Over The Top Wrestling (OTT), amongst others. However, the Scottish Women’s Championship is one title The Main Event Empress was never able to lay her hands on until now.
This match was an important one, as it marked Jayla Dark’s final time wrestling in Glasgow before she hangs up the boots at the end of September. Her final scheduled appearances see her defending the World Wide Wrestling League (W3L) Women’s Championship against Emily Hayden in a Street Fight at the company’s Wrestlution XIII show on September 6th, followed by three appearances for Pro Wrestling: EVE on September 14th, 27th, and 28th. The last of which will see her face Ice Ribbon‘s, Tsukasa Fujimoto. After that, The Supreme Leader of The Thirst Order will be leaving her in-ring career behind.
