In the main event of PROGRESS Chapter 93 the Grizzled Young Veterans (James Drake & Zack Gibson) faced old rivals Aussie Open (Mark Davis & Kyle Fletcher) in the main event for the PROGRESS tag team championships. In their first appearance in PROGRESS since last November the Grizzled Young Veterans emerged victorious to become three-time PROGRESS tag team champions much to the surprise of the audience.

What perked most fans interest was the fact that Aussie Open seemingly said goodbye to PROGRESS after the match. With Aussie Open teasing the possibility of challenging Guerrillas Of Destiny and being in a tournament to earn said match it seems very likely that they are departing PROGRESS to wrestle for NJPW.
If this was a forced change due to Aussie Open leaving then Grizzled Young Veterans are a good team to give the titles to. They will always be over as heels in the UK and have credibility as the NXT UK tag team champions. Whatever the reasoning for the change the Grizzled Young Veterans are surrounded by a tag team division in desperate need of stability and they can provide it.
