With reported leaks surfacing last week for the Money in the Bank competitors, it seemed the cat was out of the bag who WWE was sending into battle in the ladder matches. But it seems they were just fan-created fakes as the grand reveal by Alexa Bliss on Monday’s episode of Raw during A Moment of Bliss segment unveiled a far different landscape for Raw’s representatives.
The Men
Baron Corbin
Baron Corbin enters just his second MITB match, but so far he’s 1-0, winning the 2017 MITB briefcase. Unfortunately for Corbin, he was one of the few people to fail in his cash-in opportunity, as he failed to defeat then-WWE Champion Jinder Mahal due to interference from John Cena.
Drew McIntyre
This will mark Drew McIntyre‘s third MITB match, having competed unsuccessfully in MITB matches at WrestleMania 26 in 2010 then again months later at the first Money In The Bank PPV in a match for SmackDown.
Ricochet
This will be Ricochet‘s first MITB match and with ladders involved, it could be just the high energy match he needs to propel him to the next level in the WWE Universe.
Braun Strowman
This is Braun Strowman‘s second MITB match, having won the 2018 edition. But like Corbin, he failed to cash in when his cash-in match against Universal Champion Roman Reigns fell victim to interference from Brock Lesnar, causing the match to be ruled a no-contest.
The Women
Alexa Bliss
Alexa Bliss announced herself last as the final Raw women’s entrant, heading to her second MITB match. Bliss won the 2018 MITB women’s match, cashing in later that night to defeat Raw Women’s Champion Nia Jax for her third Raw Women’s Championship and fifth WWE Women’s title.
Dana Brooke
Last year, Dana Brooke lost in two qualifying matches to enter the MITB match, but she’s heading to her first one this year in her biggest opportunity in the WWE.
Naomi
Naomi had her first MITB match last year and heads into this year as a former 2x SmackDown Women’s Champion.
Natalya
Natalya will be the most experienced member of the Raw side, as she prepares for her fourth MITB match. She appeared in the inaugural one in 2017, and it’s re-do a couple of weeks later on SmackDown, as well as in last year’s event.
Needless to say, with the “leaks” turning out to be fakes, one shouldn’t hold their breath for the speculated NXT Ladder Match now…
