Wrestle Summit will be held Friday, March 29th in Los Angeles. The event brings together promotions from across the wrestling landscape like PCW ULTRA, DEFY, IMPACT Wrestling, Wrestling Revolver, Japanese Freelancers, AEW, and Austalia’s Melbourne City Wrestling (MCW). They announced the first 10 names last week and this week they’ve unveiled 15 more competitors. Here’s a look at who’s been added.
IMPACT WRESTLING
Another Rascal who will be causing trouble in LA is Zachary Wentz. The IMPACT star is one half of the Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG), and Wrestling Revolver Tag Team Champions (with Dezmond Xavier).
The E’Fin Machine invades ULTRA again in his pursuit of Johnny Impact. The former IMPACT Wrestling X Division Champion, and current Warrior Wrestling and WrestleCircus Sideshow and Ringmaster Titleholder.
IMPACT Knockouts Champion and FSW Women’s Champion is back at ULTRA. She lost to Tessa Blanchard here last time out, but took her down at Homecoming. Will this storied rivalry continue?
PCW ULTRA
The newly crowned PCW ULTRA UltraLight Champion returns. Can we get Jake Atlas in a singles match please?
Recently signed to a multi-year deal with Major League Wrestling they’ve been PCW ULTRA Tag Champions for over 730 days. Enough said.
“Relentless” Douglas James has made his presence known throughout the west coast since returning from injury. James missed on his first attempt at regaining ULTRA Gold, but it won’t be his last.
DEFY WRESTLING
Half of the DEFY Tag Team Champions with Royce Isaacs (as One Percent) Nelson is gifted in the ring. He can attack from any angle and delivers one of the smoothest flying elbows I’ve ever seen. I’m not saying as smooth as Macho Man, but…
The other half of the newly minted DEFY Tag Champs with Jorel Nelson (as One Percent). They’re also FSW Tag Team Champions and Isaacs is the Hollywood Heritage and UWN TV Champion.
WRESTLING REVOLVER
The Draw arrives with bad intentions. Sami Callihan brings brutality and pain with him and will look to dish out both at the Summit.
ALL ELITE WRESTLING
Saying that signing with AEW “sounds like a dream come true” Jungle Boy arrives with tons of potential and an opportunity to prove any doubters wrong.
JAPAN FREELANCERS
HAPPY MAN is the alien superhero alter ego of Michinoku Pro and All Japan wrestler Takeshi Minamino, and is a frequent tag partner of Kikutaro (who was announced previously).
INDEPENDENT
Sent2Slaugher is a new tandem composed of two hard hitting veterans from the New York-New Jersey area in Dan Maff and Shawn Donavan. Violent and unforgiving, they’ll be looking to make an impression at the Summit.
