BREAKING: One Percent to get DEFY Tag Title Shot

The Future Stars of Wrestling (FSW) and Best of the West Tag Team Champions One Percent will attempt to add DEFY Tag Team Gold to their trophy case against newly minted Champions Amerikan Gunz (Ethan HD & Mike Santiago). The match is part of DEFY Never Dies, Saturday, January 19th at Washington Hall in Seattle, WA. BELL TIME 7PM. This contest is a contrast of styles. The Gunz are a different type of team than what One Percent is used to in the Southwest. HD and Santiago like to make the fight as filthy and nasty as possible. They’re not going to try and match hold for hold. They want to beat the crap out of you, and neither is above bending the rules to meet that end.

One Percent is fine with that. They’ve been in the ring with the likes of Reno Scum, Bag Boyz/Double Platinum, and Whirlwind Gentlemen. Jorel Nelson is a terrific athlete who combines a high flying repertoire with a well-balanced mat game. His partner Royce Isaacs is tough. He’s “I wear a fanny pack and you won’t say s*** about it” tough. These two men have been lethal across California, Nevada, and even into Texas, and look to plant their flag in Seattle with the DEFY Tag Team Championship. Is this the first step in a monster year many anticipate for One Percent, or will The Amerikan Gunz shoot down another opponent?

About Brian Ronovech

I have the most supportive woman on Earth, and I live with her in Las Vegas. Sports have been a part of my life since I was a child. My wrestling life began with the AWA in the early eighties, and I was hooked immediately. I love a high energy, physical pro wrestling match whether it's in a stadium or a high school. I love great stories and characters, but the great match is what gets me every time. Writing has taken me from the school newspaper to blogs about leadership, leukemia, hockey, and wrestling. I've realized that for me everything comes back to writing. There is nothing else I would rather do.
