Misaki Ohata began wrestling in 2006, a student of former All Japan Women’s (AJW) Champion Mariko Yoshida and Japanese Women Pro Wrestling (JWP)/PURE-J veteran Leon. She originally began as a star with the promotion IBUKI, before freelancing with such promotions as Sendai Girls, OZ Academy and Ice Ribbon. In 2007, she would also start working with the promotion she would become most synonymous with, Pro Wrestling WAVE.

But her real bread and butter would remain her work in the joshi scene of Japan, where she was a 3x champion in Pro Wrestling WAVE, as well as a JWP Princess of Princesses Champion and JWP Junior Champion. She was also a tag team specialist, capturing the WAVE Tag Team titles on three occasions with three partners (Ryo Mizunami, Mio Shirai and Tsukasa Fujimoto). With Ryo, she also captured the Ice Ribbon Tag Team titles as well.
