Last night at Full Impact Pro (FIP) Accelerate, Anthony Henry defeated Austin Theory to become the new FIP World Champion, after Amber Young stopped Theory from using the belt as a weapon, leading to Henry picking up the submission win. Following the match, Austin Theory blamed his own valet, Priscilla Kelly, for the loss.

A 15-year veteran of the indie circuit, Anthony Henry started out with NWA Wildside and Anarchy Wrestling in Georgia, before breaking out into more territories and indies in 2012. Working with the likes of Premiere Wrestling Xperience (PWX) and others, he made his EVOLVE debut in 2016. A 3x Anarchy Young Lions Champion and 2x NWA North Georgia Champion, Henry won the EVOLVE Tag Team titles in 2017 with James Drake as part of the Work Horsemen. The duo are also the current reigning Freelance Wrestling and Atlanta Wrestling Entertainment (AWE) Tag Team Champions. Henry had faced Theory before – at this May’s Ascension but was unsuccessful in capturing the FIP title until this past Sunday.
