The WWE King of the Ring 2026 has been a rousing success. Even though the format for the first round of the tournament was different, it sure did pack on the action, featuring four separate Fatal 4-Way Matches that collected WWE’s top stars from both WWE Raw and Friday Night SmackDown to fill up the brackets of the King of the Ring 2026 semifinals. On this week’s June 12, 2026, episode of WWE SmackDown, we now know who will face the “Young OG” in the next phase of this tourney.
WWE King of the Ring 2026 Semifinals is ON
King of the Ring 2026 has been a massive success for WWE. Thus far, two WWE Raw stars have emerged victorious and are poised for a collision course, with Oba Femi and Dominik Mysterio already booked to face each other in the semifinals of this gauntlet. This past Monday night in Paris, France, Je’Von Evans showed how bouncy he really was, defeating big-time stars such as Talla Tonga, Ricky Saints, and former world champion Seth Rollins.

It’s no surprise that we’ve gotten massive performance from some off WWE’s best and brightest, considering the prize the King of the Ring 2026 winner will have: a shot at a champion of their choosing at the “Biggest Party of the Summer,” WWE SummerSlam 2026 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Friday night, with one final spot in the semis, Jey Uso, LA Knight, Royce Keys and Finn Balor went to war. Even before the bell rang, Jey Uso went after LA Knight, prompting Finn Balor and Royce Keys to get into it. Throughout the match, all four tried to wrestle control of the bout, with no one truly being able to dominate.
Keys would get removed from the equation, as the other three would put him through a table with a Shield Powerbomb. All three would jockey for position, with LA Knight coming out on top after the melee. Knight would hit an Inverted DDT, followed by his Spring Elbow Drop. Solo Sikoa, who’s in Royce Keys’ corner, would cost Knight, hitting him with a Samoan Spike, allowing Royce Keys to hit The Ultimate Spinebuster.

Keys was on the verge of winning, but Jey Uso would hit The Uso Splash out of nowhere on Keys, stealing the win, and setting the stage for the semifinals of the King of the Ring against Je’Von Evans. The King and Queen of the Ring semifinals start next week, as the finals approach at Night of Champions!
