WWE SmackDown Results & Post-Show Review (6/12/26) – LIVE Updates

WWE SmackDown results are back for the June 12, 2026, edition of the Blue brand. After an extremely successful WWE European Trip, where we saw amazing installments of WWE Monday Night Raw and SmackDown, culminating in a big-time Premium Live Event in the form of Clash in Italy, the promotion is back in the United States as the King and Queen of the Ring tournament continues, concluding the first round of the tournament.

Both tournaments have been great, thus far, as after tonight, eight men and women will be left to fight it out in the semifinals of their respective tourneys, to determine who will have the opportunity to challenge the champion of their choice at SummerSlam this coming August. It’s an exciting night indeed, so let’s get right into it.

Once again, this is the LIVE coverage of the WWE SmackDown results for June 12, 2026. Let’s run it down.

WWE SmackDown Results (6/12/26):

We see Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes speak with Nick Aldis regarding an update on Gunther’s stipulation. Aldis informed him there’s still no word, but they’ll find out tonight. Backstage, he ran into The Usos, with Jey making it known he plans on winning the King of the Ring tournament. Rhodes said he deserves a shot, but he hopes it’s Jey’s decision, not Roman’s.

Before the first match-up, Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett reported on the injury of Rhea Ripley.

Queen of the Ring 2026 Tournament – Fatal 4-Way First Round

For the final spot in the semis, SmackDown opens with a Fatal 4-Way Queen of the Ring match, as Charlotte Flair, Jade Cargill, Sol Ruca, and Lyra Valkyria begin the action. In a bar-setting match, Ruca, Cargill, Valkyria, and Flair went through an absolute war, with all women having the chance to win it.

Unfortunately, for the other three, Charlotte Flair is a living legend, and she used her experience to come out of this demolition derby as the winner, advancing to the semifinals of the Queen of the Ring.

Backstage:

  • We see a mini Judgment Day “reunion” as R-Truth welcomed Finn Balor to SmackDown, only to get a cold remark from Damian Priest.

Paige & Brie Bella vs. Fatal Influence

To test their mettle, WWE Women’s Champion Paige and Brie Bella go up against Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid of Fatal Influence in a non-title tag match. Reid and Henley hung with the champions, but that was because Jacy Jayne was on the offensive despite not being in the match.

On multiple occasions, Paige had Fatal Influence beat, whether it was a pin attempt or a submission via PTO. Jayne would go for the distraction one last time before getting caught by the referee and being ejected from the match. Inside the ring, Fallon would execute a Small Package on Paige, only for Brie Bella to push Paige into the dominant position, as the referee turned his attention back to the match, allowing Paige and Brie to secure the victory over SmackDown’s newest dominant faction.

Backstage:

  • After getting electrocuted, we see The Miz revert to his old ways, like he’s stuck in 2009. Kit Wilson confronted Danhausen about this, only to get electrocuted himself.

Sami Zayn Speaks

Sami Zayn comes out to his “diehards” to address them. Zayn thanked his diehards, and if anyone is against the “Last Good Guy in WWE,” they can get lost. Sami would then call out the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes for a confrontation. This was an absolutely heated exchange, with Zayn asking Rhodes to be “honest” with him, considering he has supported him in every crowning achievement.

Cody couldn’t take it anymore and said his piece, calling Zayn “desperate” and that if he’s sorry for anything, it’s that he holds the Undisputed WWE Title, meaning Sami will never get to be champion. Zayn was seething, slapping Rhodes in the face. Cody would return the favor, saying they’re “good.”

A livid Zayn would try to retaliate and grab a chair, but decided against it, walking away from the scene.

AAA Cruiserweight Championship Match

The Lucha sensation and AAA Cruiserweight Champion Rey Fenix defends the title against another high-flyer, Axiom. In quite the showdown, Fenix and Axiom tore the house down. Fenix began the match with some hectic offense, throwing Axiom out of the ring, as Rey dove through the ropes for a Suicide Dive Senton. Fenix would get on the top rope, but Axiom would catch him with a Rear-Naked Choke.

Axiom’s game plan was to ground him, and it worked for the most part. Axiom would go to the air, hitting an Avalanche Spanish Fly late in the game. Fenix would fight back, hitting two Spinning Animal Kicks, before ultimately beating him with the Mexican Muscle Buster to retain the AAA Cruiserweight Title, and putting a stamp on this absolute marvel of a match.

Backstage:

Trick Williams Walks into SmackDown

Accompanied by Lil Yachty, U.S. Champion Trick Williams rolls up to SmackDown to speak to his people. After his loss in his King of the Ring 1st round match, Trick said something was awakened inside him, as Trick Williams declared he’s that guy, ending with this passionate speech with a remark that he’s “Trick James, b*tch!”

Ricky Saints and Carmelo Hayes would interrupt, getting into a heated exchange, trying to convince Trick that they’re next up in line. Trick would shut both men down, as Saints and Melo would get physical, with the latter hitting Dirty Diana. Trick would assert his dominance by hitting a Book End on Melo, standing tall above both men.

Tiffany Stratton & Chelsea Green vs. Michin & B-FAB

The unlikely duo of Chelsea Green and Women’s United States Champion Tiffany Stratton looks to give B-FAB and Michin their comeuppance as they face off in a tag match. The match started with a flurry from Stratton and Green, but that was the final time we’d see Stratton in any capacity, as Green would get battered by B-FAB and Michin.

When Chelsea had the opening, Jade Cargill would pull down Stratton from the apron, leaving Green for dead. Michin hit the Styles Clash for the win. Post-match, Cargill would hit Jaded on Stratton and showed great interest in the Women’s U.S. Title Match.

King of the Ring 2026 Tournament – Fatal 4-Way First Round

To determine Je’Von Evans’ opponent in the semis, LA Knight, Jey Uso, Finn Balor, and Royce Keys battle it out in the final first-round Fatal 4-Way Match in the King of the Ring tournament. Similar to its Queen of the Ring counterpart, this match was intense from bell to bell.

All four men had their A-Game tonight, and the match could’ve gone any way. Unfortunately, LA Knight had this in the bag for a split second, that is, until Royce Keys’ backup would interfere. Jey Uso would pick his spots and retrieve the scraps, hitting a Uso Splash on Knight to advance to the next round and end this week’s SmackDown.

WWE SmackDown Post-Show Review (6/12/26):

SmackDown’s return to the U.S. was actually really impressive. All WWE shows tend to lead off with a long-drawn-out segment. While we got a short one from Rhodes and Aldis, the Queen of the Ring Fatal 4-Way immediately went after, and it was a great match that set the tone for the night.

From an in-ring performance standpoint, this week’s SmackDown has been the best in an absolute while. The show opener was amazing, as well as the AAA Cruiserweight Title Match between Axiom and Rey Fenix that had enough time to marinade. Even the Paige/Brie Bella and Fatal Influence tag match was fun, with the former’s gimmick of being able to pull out the win through unconventional means being a fun little segment.

Outside the ring, the Trick Williams and Cody Rhodes/Sami Zayn promos were absolute highlights, and to be honest, we wouldn’t expect anything less from these three men. Zayn was on fire tonight, considering this arc started months back, and some thought it would be an afterthought.

Probably overnight, Zayn proved that this storyline isn’t just him being a pest but an actual threat to the Undisputed WWE Championship. A low light is WWE more than likely pulling the trigger on another program between Jade Cargill and Tiffany Stratton, but now, for the Women’s United States Title.

We’ve seen this before, and it was alright at best. It’s clear that WWE doesn’t know what to do with both women, and they deserve a lot more. While it paled in comparison to the Queen of the Ring opener, the King of the Ring 4-Way was solid enough to cap this night off on a high note.

There was filler here and there, with the card being a bit bloated. However, we can say that this edition of SmackDown, from an in-ring perspective, was the best in a while, which is quite frankly, not really that high of a bar.

That’s all for REAL-TIME WWE SmackDown results for June 12, 2026, as they happened in the Amica Mutual Pavilion live from Providence, Rhode Island.
