Historic WWE Career
Demolition arrived in WWE in 1987, where they tore through tag teams such as The Islanders, The Killer Bees, The British Bulldogs and The Rougeau Brothers as part of an impressive undefeated streak. At WrestleMania IV, Demolition defeated Strike Force (Rick Martel and Tito Santana) to win the WWE Tag Team Championship. They held the titles for 478 days, with wins over The Heart Foundation, The Rockers, The Powers of Pain and Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard. The latter team would end their historic reign at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
But their record would remain undefeated until the New Day bested the 478-day reign 28 years later. Crush would join Ax and Smash in Demolition, but will not join them in the WWE Hall of Fame. Crush was brought in over fears Ax (Bill Eadie) would not be able to compete due to a shellfish allergy he picked up during a WWE tour of Japan.

Why Has It Taken Demolition So Long To Be Honoured?
