While airing live in Saudi Arabia (12 PM ET) (you can read full spoilers here), WWE seems to have accidentally spoiled plans for the 2026 Men’s Royal Rumble by unintentionally revealing who will be the match’s first entrant.
2026 Royal Rumble: Adam Pearce Poised to Get Revenge as Bron Breakker Enters First
While airing intros for a Johnny Gargano vs Axiom match, a nameplate briefly appeared at the bottom of the screen indicating Bron Breakker would be the first entrant in the WWE Men’s 2026 Royal Rumble. In kayfabe, Breakker’s No. 1 entry is telling, as it seems to be part of Adam Pearce’s recent vendetta against Breakker and the Vision. Pearce has found himself embroiled in a feud with Paul Heyman’s group. He did grant all of the Vision entry to the Rumble, but it seemed to be part of a bigger plan to create dissent among the foursome. Now, calling in a favor to have Breakker enter first allows Pearce the opportunity to make his road to victory as difficult as possible.
It is worth noting that Breakker briefly passed Roman Reigns for the top odds to win the Rumble earlier this week. He once again sits behind Reigns, but it is the slightest of margins. Winning the Rumble from one is not the easiest thing to do, but it’s certainly not impossible. Three men have done it, with Edge being the most recent in 2021. Rhea Ripley is the only woman to have done it, doing so in 2023.
Whether WWE keeps Breakker at one or changes course due to the spoiler remains to be seen. Regardless, Breakker should be considered a real threat to win it all.
