Je'Von Evans: A WWE Superstar in the Making

Report: Je’Von Evans Seems to Have Avoided Serious Injury on Raw

On Monday Night Raw, Je’Von Evans was midway through his match with El Grande Americano when something went wrong. The match went to a commercial, and when Raw came back from break, Evans was deemed medically unable to compete, thus awarding Americano the victory. Evans was seen being helped to the back as he favored what appeared to be his shoulder and upper arm.

Je’Von Evans is Going to be Okay

Raw took place around 3 PM ET, so not much was known about Evans’ injury until reports began to circulate later that night. According to multiple respected news outlets, including PW Insider and The Wrestling Observer, Je’Von Evans was fortunate not to have suffered a serious injury. In fact, it seems the main concern was not Evans’ shoulder but rather a concussion he was believed to have suffered during the course of the match. According to sources, Evans was examined and cleared, and he should be good to go for the Royal Rumble.

Where there is some confusion, however, is that PW Insider is reporting Je’Von Evans is well enough to continue on the road, while the Observer is stating he’s flying home. There has been no confirmation from WWE on Evans’ status or if he will be available in the coming weeks. It won’t take long to find out, however, as Evans has been a part of WWE’s European Tour, and if he is healthy, he should be expected to compete throughout the week.

Avoiding serious injury is great news for Je’Von Evans, who has been on a tear since officially joining Raw earlier this month. Evans has already established himself as a future star and someone who should factor into the company’s plans going forward.
