4 Reasons To Watch WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event XLIII

WWE is gearing up for its first Saturday Night’s Main Event of 2026. A show that is steeped in rich history with WWE and has done very well since they brought it back in 2024. It’s a great nostalgic break for the WWE Universe and one that should provide some great excitement as we head into the Royal Rumble.

We can see on the card that WWE is putting together for Saturday that it will be a night revolving around the Royal Rumble. Saudi Arabia is gearing up for a massive event, but before we hit the Rumble, we will have to see how this Saturday unfolds. It will be an intriguing night of wrestling. One that is going to create loads of excitement for the rest of the month. Below, we will look at some reasons why we should all be excited for WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event XLIII.

A Montreal Crowd That Will Be Rocking WWE SNME

This has been a common theme with WWE lately, but if it’s not broken, don’t fix it. The international crowds have been fantastic for WWE over the past few years. Producing some of the most memorable moments in recent memory. One of those great crowds was in the city of Montreal.

Montreal has always been a fun crowd to witness. They aren’t fans who sit on their hands during an event. They are as vocal as anyone can be and constantly provide the world with great visuals with their reactions. This is the type of crowd that makes WWE want to keep bringing its show back to the Paris of North America.

The Montreal crowd will be rabid on Saturday, as per usual, perhaps even more so with hometown boy Sami Zayn wrestling in the main event. Seeing the crowd go berserk all night is worth the price of admission alone.

A Women’s Tag Team Match That Will Be A Must-See Event

Let’s be honest, the Women’s Tag Team division has not been very consistent since WWE brought the straps back. We have seen many highs and lows from the championships, but we can all agree that this Saturday will give us one of the highest highs that the Women’s Tag Team Championships have seen.

Liv Morgan, Roxanne Perez, Iyo Sky, and Rhea Ripley have been intertwined with one another for a few years now. There is a deep-seated hatred between Liv Morgan, Sky, and Ripley that has driven a lot of WWE programming. It has been a great story being told that has only been interrupted by ill-timed injuries. This Saturday, the injuries are out the window, and we will get to see some great tag team wrestling.

The story is compelling, and the tag team action will be fantastic. There is so much going for the Women’s Tag Team contest that it’s hard to believe that it won’t be a major highlight of the night. It could also give us some indication of what WWE’s World Championship picture will be like headed into WrestleMania.
