4 Reasons To Watch WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event XLIII

A Fresh Matchup For Cody Rhodes

Cody Rhodes has been the focal point of WWE programming for some time now, but audience fatigue is starting to set in. Rhodes has been at the top for a few years now, and his opponent has been drying up. We have been witnessing the same old programs being dragged up. It’s something that WWE has rectified with a new matchup this Saturday featuring Cody Rhodes and Jacob Fatu.

The Cody Rhodes and Jacob Fatu issues are fresh and muddled. Two things make this matchup one that everyone wants to see. Many questions are heading into their match, and hopefully, some of them will be answered. Does Cody Rhodes have something to do with the attack that put Fatu on the shelf? Will we see Rhodes move further into the heel corner of his character? Is Jacob Fatu going to start the year off with a huge victory that will solidify his claim to a WWE Championship shot? These are just a few of the questions that we hope can be answered come Saturday.

A Fatal Four-Way To Determine Drew McIntyre’s Next Challenger

The wrestling world is still in a bit of shock over the WWE Championship win by Drew McIntyre. A well-deserved win, but not one that was expected, especially when WWE is headed into WrestleMania season. It sets up all sorts of interesting possibilities for the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania. Possibilities that should become clearer after Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Randy Orton, Sami Zayn, Trick Williams, and Damian Priest are going to battle to determine McIntyre’s next challenger. Each man represents a different direction that WWE can take into the Royal Rumble, all with their own intriguing stories. We have two veterans with history with the current champion, a rookie who would receive a huge rub from a WWE Championship match, and a hometown boy who would give us the feel-good story of the year. It’s one of the few times where WWE could do no wrong with their winner. Each man gives us a great story and would provide a great challenge for Drew McIntyre at the Royal Rumble.

Plus, we all know that the crowd is going to be ravenous for Sami Zayn. This fatal Four-Way match is a win-win for all of us.
