Mick Foley Won’t Renew WWE Legends Contract For Foreseeable Future

Going by many nicknames and personas, such as the “Hardcore Legend,” “Mrs. Foley’s Baby Boy,” “Mankind,” “Dude Love,” and “Cactus Jack,” Mick Foley is a WWE legend with a staggering resume unrivaled by many in the industry. He has sacrificed life and limb to keep the WWE Universe entertained through the decades, specifically his iconic matchup with The Undertaker at King of the Ring 1998, wherein he had that infamous fall off the top of Hell in a Cell.

Unfortunately, it looks like Mick Foley won’t be making any appearances or working with WWE for the foreseeable future. Foley made the decision not to renew his WWE Legends contract with the promotion due to its perceived affiliation with the Trump Administration.

The President of the United States made some very unsavory comments regarding the death of Film director Rob Reiner, as well as his wife, Michele Reiner. Per Foley in an Instagram post, which you can read in its entirety below, this was the proverbial “final straw” for Foley, and he wants nothing to do with WWE or those who might be thought of as being associated with this current U.S. administration.

Foley ended the message by stating that he will not be working with WWE until this administration’s term has come to an end.
