AEW Dynasty Set to Make Its Canadian Debut in Vancouver

All Elite Wrestling has confirmed that AEW Dynasty will be held in Canada for the first time. The event will take place on Sunday, April 12, and will be hosted at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, as a pay-per-view. This marks a big step forward for the promotion as it continues to expand its footprint on the international stage.

Why AEW Chose Vancouver

AEW chose Vancouver because of the strong reception the company received during its first visit to the city in May 2024. That initial show featured a passionate and knowledgeable fanbase, which left a strong impression and set the stage for a larger-scale event. The enthusiastic reaction from the local audience also played a key role in AEW’s decision to bring a major pay-per-view to the city.

AEW worked with Tourism Vancouver to bring Dynasty to the city. The partnership shows just how attractive Vancouver is for hosting major sports and entertainment events, and it also helps AEW continue its push into new markets while growing its presence outside the U.S.

Dynasty’s Growing Legacy

Dynasty first took place in St. Louis, Missouri, before moving to Philadelphia for its second year. Now, bringing the event to Vancouver is another sign of how Dynasty is growing, with the show turning into a rotating event held in major cities. With Vancouver’s long wrestling history and a passionate fanbase, the city feels like a perfect fit for one of AEW’s biggest shows of the year.
