Jackson Drake vs. Sean Legacy for the Evolve Championship at NXT Gold Rush Week 2 Graphic

WWE NXT Preview (11/25/25) – Week 2 of Gold Rush

We just concluded week one of WWE NXT Gold Rush and saw one championship change hands. However, that was only the beginning. We will get presented with four more championship matches this week in week two.

The gold is on the line. Will the challengers be able to take advantage of this and leave with a championship?

Recently, TNA Knockouts Champion, Kelani Jordan, has been showing a different side to her, a more ruthless side. Jordan has been bending the rules in matches to remain on top and keep her championship.

Jordan wasn’t planning on defending her championship at NXT Gold Rush until Director of Authority of TNA Wrestling, Santino Marella, had other ideas for Jordan. He enforced a match for her at Gold Rush to defend her championship against both Jordynne Grace and Lei Ying Lee.

Lee is looking to restore honor to the championship, as she feels it was stripped while in Kelani Jordan’s possession, especially given Jordan’s new attitude. Jordynne Grace is also entering the match with confidence as she is ready to become a four-time Knockouts Champion.

Evolve Championships on the Line

Both Men’s and Women’s Evolve Championships will be on the line at week two of NXT Gold Rush. It’s exciting to see these championships defended on NXT, as we can watch the stars from Evolve flourish as they work their way up to NXT and eventually the main roster.

We will see the Evolve Women’s Champion, Kendal Grey, defend her championship against Lainey Reid. To get a championship match at Gold Rush, Reid took it into her own hands. Last week, on the November 11th edition of NXT, Reid walked up to Lainey and gave her a slap to the face, which led to a title match.

Men’s Evolve Champion, Jackson Drake, will be facing Sean Legacy this week with the championship on the line. Drake has held and defended the championship since June of this year. Will this be yet another successful title defense?

Sean Legacy hasn’t challenged for the championship since losing the fatal four-way elimination match to Jackson Drake to crown the first-ever Evole Champion. Will he take advantage of this opportunity and walk out of NXT Gold Rush with the gold?
