This year, NXT Gold Rush is so large that it is split into two weeks. This coming week on NXT will be the first week of Gold Rush, and we have already begun getting a preview of the action we will see.
This coming week on NXT Gold Rush, there will be four championship matches. Will someone new be taking home the gold?
Will Sol Ruca Hold Gold Once Again?
At NXT Halloween Havoc, Zaria lost Sol Ruca’s North American Championship to Blake Monroe. Ruca was injured and had to relinquish her championship, but her best friend, Zaria, stepped up to defend it. Unfortunately, it didn’t go the way either of them would have liked.
Ruca is now cleared for in-ring action and is going to get her rematch against Blake Monroe for the Women’s North American Championship this week at NXT Gold Rush. Sol Ruca and Blake Monroe have never faced each other in a singles match yet, so we don’t know what to expect.

Do You Believe in Hail and Hendry?
This Tuesday will be Ethan Page and Chelsea Green’s first title defense; they will defend their AAA Mixed Tag Team Championships against Thea Hail and Joe Hendry. To become champions, they defeated Mr. Iguana and La Hiedra at Triple A’s Dia de los Muertos event.
The AAA Mixed Tag Team Championships have since become very popular in the WWE as Chelsea Green and Ethan Page are a very charismatic and entertaining duo. Even though they haven’t defended the championships yet, they have been doing many segments and remaining active on social media.
A greater spotlight appeared on the championships as Joe Hendry and Thea Hail challenged to be their first opponents. Hendry and Hail also seem to be a great pair considering their charisma and the reactions the receive from the fans. No matter who wins, this week we will receive an entertaining match.
