Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre Stipulation for Undisputed WWE Title Decided for WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event (SNME) XLI

On this week’s WWE SmackDown, in the last segment of the evening, Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre were set to make their match at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event (SNME) XLI official for the Undisputed WWE Title. SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis was there to mediate and make sure every dot was signed and I’s crossed. Of course, in classic Drew McIntyre fashion, he would refuse to sign the contract after Rhodes had already done it.

Why, you may ask, WWE Universe? McIntyre stated that the contract was rigged. After getting himself disqualified last week on SmackDown, Rhodes was able to retain the title, and that was what McIntyre was concerned about. He wanted the same luxuries as the champion, ensuring a “champion’s advantage” is not possible.

Fed up, Cody Rhodes immediately agreed; if he happens to be disqualified or counted out during the WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event (SNME) XLI title bout, he loses the title and Drew claims the title. Aldis was not a fan of this stipulation at all, but with his champion wanting this to come to fruition, Nick agreed to it, leading to Drew affixing his signature on the contract to make it all official for Saturday night.

Folks, we’re in for quite the battle this Saturday night. With the playing field as even as it could ever get, who will come out of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event XLI the Undisputed WWE Champion?
