Why WWE Would Disband The Vision and Seth Rollins this Early

The Vision emerged during WrestleMania 41, when Seth Rollins and Paul Heyman revealed their alliance during a triple-threat match involving Rollins, Roman Reigns, and CM Punk. Bron Breakker joined the faction the next night on Raw, followed by Bronson Reed. Yet, in less than six months, The Vision crumbled after Bron Breakker attacked Seth Rollins on a recent Raw episode. Why would WWE dismantle a promising group so quickly? Let’s explore the reasons behind this decision and how it could architect something greater.

Seth Rollins’ Injury at Crown Jewel in Perth

PWInsider reported that Seth Rollins suffered an injury during his Crown Jewel Championship match in Perth against Cody Rhodes. Despite triumphing, Rollins’ injury forced WWE to pivot, disbanding the heel faction. Rollins is no stranger to setbacks; last year, he competed at WrestleMania XL despite an injury, defending his World Heavyweight Championship against Drew McIntyre and aiding Cody Rhodes against Roman Reigns.

However, Bronson Reed’s Tsunami following his return sidelined him further last year. With reports indicating rotator cuff surgery this time around, WWE chose to pull the plug on The Vision to protect its leader’s recovery.

Elevating Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed as Dominant Heels

Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed thrived as Seth Rollins’ enforcers in The Vision, but their roles often felt secondary. Breakker shone in his rivalries, while Reed defeated Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel in Perth. Still, both appeared as henchmen taking orders. To establish them as formidable heels, WWE orchestrated their betrayal of Rollins.

Betrayal is a proven catalyst in wrestling—Rollins himself experienced this when he betrayed The Shield in 2014, elevating his career. Triple H’s creative team likely saw this as the perfect opportunity to transform Breakker and Reed into unstoppable forces by severing ties with their leader.

Paving the Way for Brock Lesnar as The Vision’s New Leader

With Rollins ousted, The Vision needs a new leader. While Becky Lynch, Rollins’ real-life wife, might seem like a candidate, her leadership wouldn’t suit the dynamic of commanding muscular heels like Breakker and Reed. Instead, Paul Heyman could be pulling the strings. On the September 19, 2025, episode of SmackDown, Heyman and Brock Lesnar were seen talking backstage, with Lesnar insisting they needed to discuss something. Heyman later announced Lesnar’s Wrestlepalooza appearance.

Rollins’ suspicions of foul play on Raw suggest Heyman may have orchestrated the betrayal. With a history of turning on allies like CM Punk, Roman Reigns, and Lesnar himself, Heyman could be positioning The Beast Incarnate as The Vision’s new leader, leveraging Lesnar’s dominance to reshape the faction’s future. This bold move by WWE sets the stage for thrilling developments, ensuring The Vision’s collapse is merely the prelude to a larger, more explosive story.
