WWE NXT Heatwave 2025

NXT Heatwave 2025 is scheduled to begin at 7 PM ET/4 PM PT, and will stream live on Peacock in the United States and the WWE Network internationally.

This year’s NXT Heatwave will be on the same day as the AEWxNJPW Forbidden Door 2025 event, which will take place earlier in the day at The O2 Arena in London, England. While the events are taking place in different time zones, both promotions are set to deliver marquee events on what will undoubtedly be a packed day for wrestling fans around the world.

Previous WWE NXT Heatwave Events

Since its revival on NXT in 2022, Heatwave has typically been staged in the July/August period, with previous editions airing as either television specials or PLEs. The event debuted under the NXT 2.0 rebrand before being elevated to PLE status in 2024. That event, held in Toronto, Canada, featured multiple championship matches and high-stakes rivalries, continuing the legacy of the Heatwave name, which originally began as an ECW event in the late 1990s.

NXT Heatwave 2025 is expected to showcase some of the brand’s top stars and rising prospects, as WWE’s third brand looks to close out the summer with a bang. More details regarding the event’s card and featured matches are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
