TNA Slammiversary Crowned the ultimate women's champion

Shocking Title Change at TNA Slammiversary 2025

The “worst-case scenario” happened at TNA Slammiversary 2025. NXT’s Fatal Influence member, Jacy Jayne, defeated Masha Slamovich not only to retain the NXT Women’s Championship but to win the TNA Knockouts World Championship.

Slamovich fell victim to the numbers game of Fatal Influence in the early going. Jayne took advantage, sending Slamovich into the steel ring post. Moments later, Fallon Henley got involved at ringside. Slamovich began to fight back with the Air Raid Crash into the corner turnbuckles. Jayne hit her signature running knee strike for two. The referee prevented Jayne from using the NXT Women’s Title as a weapon.

Jacy Jayne used the Knockouts’ Title instead, but it was not enough. Xia Brookside and Lei Ying Lee neutralized Fallon Henley and Jazmyn Nyx at ringside. Jayne inadvertently superkicked the referee. Slamovich planted her with the Snow Plow. Another referee was here, but the delay allowed Jayne to recover. Jayne hit the Rolling Encore to score the victory.

After the match, TNA President Carlos Silva handed Jayne the TNA Knockouts World Championship. As Trick Williams retained the TNA World Championship later, the two major TNA titles are now in the hands of NXT talents. This situation would have never happened before the WWE/TNA partnership signed earlier this year.

TNA Director of Authority, Santino Marella, said later that the night was very special, “it was epic, it was historical, but it looks like NXT came away with the shining stars tonight.” Due to that, Marella will be in Houston, TX, this Tuesday night at WWE NXT to address the unique situation of two TNA belts held by WWE Stars.

Meanwhile, Slamovich is set for a match against WWE star Natalya (AKA Nattie Neidhart) on the afternoon of WWE SummerSlam Saturday as part of GCW Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport.
