TNA Slammiversary 2025 Preview, Predictions, How to Watch (7/20/25) – A Phenomenal One

Here is all you need to know about the upcoming TNA Slammiversary 2025. The road to the PLE was an epic 6-iMPACT-episode ride, with a phenomenal announcement in the end.

TNA Wrestling confirmed that all floor seats are officially sold out. Additionally, Slammiversary is announced to be the largest TNA show in attendance in over 10 years. It is projected to be the largest crowd at any TNA Wrestling live event in the US in the company’s history.

The Nygma’s View & Predictions

With 9 matches announced, TNA Slammiversary has a stacked card, with huge stakes that were confirmed on iMPACT! on Thursday. I’m extremely bad at the prediction game, so if I was totally wrong, don’t be too surprised…

How Many Title Changes?

Five of the six TNA titles are on the line (I will focus on the two major ones after). At least one title change is a minimum.

I don’t see how the IInspiration could not win against the Elegance brand. Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay have carefully studied their opponents over the last few weeks. Despite M and The Personal Concierge on the Elegance side, they can do it. Also, Ash by Elegance is the #1 contender for the TNA Knockouts World Championship. Her personal ambitions could overcome her team’s implication.

The Hardys announced they were contemplating retirement if they didn’t win the World Tag Team Championship again. This is half a surprise, as Jeff Hardy said he and Matt would not be against a last WWE ride. There’s a little injury issue in the Slammiversary 4-Way Ladder match.

Trey Miguel is about to undergo hernia surgery, and KC Navarro has a dislocated knee. I don’t see Leon Slater interfere in the match when Trick Williams could help First Class. I’ll give the win to the Hardys. We’ll see what’s next at Bound For Glory (for the moment, WWE is too busy with Cena’s retirement).

Moose vs Leon Slater is about making history, becoming the longest-reigning Champion, or becoming the youngest X-Division Champion. Moose is around 30 days away from Austin Aries’ record (298 days) when Leon Slater could break Amazing Red’s record if he wins before September 30.

That’s what I think Moose’s reign is going to last a bit longer, as Leon Slater still has the time to break the record. Let’s not forget Moose is a member of the System, which means possible interferences, and he broke Sami Callihan‘s nerves on this week’s iMPACT. Slater wins, but via DQ, and Moose retains.

How Many TNA titles for NXT? An NXT Title in TNA?

NXT’s Trick Williams is currently the TNA World Champion, while Jacy Jayne could become both NXT Women’s Champion and TNA Knockouts Champion. In the worst case, the two TNA belts will go to an NXT wrestler. In the best case, the TNA two belts will be around the waists of TNA wrestlers, plus the NXT Women’s Championship.

The two TNA titles in NXT, that’s just not possible. As Jacy Jayne and Ash by Elegance had issues this week on iMPACT, Ash could easily cost Jayne her title. On the other side, I really don’t want to say yet why “Trick-NA” makes me laugh. Then, I feel like Trick Williams retaining the title could open more doors for the future, mostly with AJ Styles back home.

In my Nygma’s heart, you know I believe in Santana when I don’t believe in Joe Hendry. Even if TNA has put the spotlight on Santana the last few weeks, letting us think he would be the next Champion, I bet on Trick Williams retaining. That would mean Masha Slamovich retaining the TNA Knockouts World Championship and becoming NXT Women’s Champion.

A Styles’ Clash?

The elephant in the room. Does AJ Styles come to make his presence felt or to compete? There’s no doubt in my mind that Styles is not coming just for Slammiversary. A last ride till Bound For Glory, with a TNA Hall of Fame induction, would be the perfect scenario. Trick Williams and Mike Santana want a match against him. I would love to see Leon Slater face his hero, the one he is said to be a “Future version of.”

The King of TNA, Frankie Kazarian, could welcome him in his King’s Speech, teasing a match that AJ Styles said he wants. Styles could also interfere in the main event, and so choose his World Champion. When it comes to a match, facing Frankie Kazarian right now would be a mistake. I’m not convinced by him answering a Steve Maclin’s TNA International Championship Open Challenge. I go for a King’s Speech.

The Best of The Rest

Of the last four matches, two are quite predictable, while two are not. Indi Hartwell has been pushed as the strong lady, defeating Tessa Blanchard is undeniable. I don’t like what I’m going to say, but making Steve Maclin, Mance Warner, and Jake Something team up is something even Ethan Hunt could not succeed in. So, Zilla Fatu, Real 1, and Josh Bishop grab the win.

When it comes to Mustafa Ali and Cedric Alexander, I don’t know. The build-up of it has been pretty complex. Order 4 is now back on Ali’s side, but does that mean they won’t betray him anymore? I will say Mustafa Ali, but I’m far from convinced. Matt Cardona found sympathy in the Devil’s den, as the System agreed to work with him against NXT’s Darkstate. I think Darkstate won’t win because the story between Cardona and the System is far from over.
