WWE SmackDown Spoilers (7/4/25):
- Cody Rhodes kicks off this week’s WWE SmackDown spoilers, airing on July 4th, 2025, seemingly addressing his King of the Ring win last Saturday over Randy Orton. “The Viper” showed his respect to his former Legacy stablemate after their intense battle at Night of Champions. “The Scottish Psychopath”, Drew McIntyre, would return, interfering in the proceedings, mocking their mutual respect and trying to drive a wedge between them. McIntyre would eat an RKO for his troubles.
- During the show, it was announced that the unlikely tandem of Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair would face off against B-Fab and Michin, as well as the Secret HERvice in a Triple Threat Tag Team Match to fight for the right to become number one contenders for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship, held by Raquel Rodriguez, and now Roxanne Perez, at WWE Evolution 2. Bliss and Flair advance to Evolution 2.
- The Wyatt Sicks takes on Berto, Johnny Gargano, Montez Ford and Chris Sabin in 8-Man Tag Team Action. Wyatt Sicks comes out on top, with Erick Rowan pinning Chris Sabin for the win.
- In tag team action, Fraxiom battles Rey Fenix and Andrade. The unlikely pairing of Andrade and Fenix would nab the victory.
- Tiffany Stratton addresses the WWE Universe, stating how excited she is for her showdown with Jade Cargill at SummerSlam. That said, Stratton wants to defend the WWE Women’s Championship also at WWE Evolution 2, and she wants to do it against WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus. The legend comes out and accepts the challenge.
- Backstage, Aleister Black and Damian Priest have a confrontation, with the latter trying to explain R-Truth’s actions from the previous weeks. During this tension-filled interaction, it was confirmed that R-Truth will be facing off against Aleister Black next week on SmackDown.
- Another tag team match is set as Jacob Fatu and Jimmy Uso team up for the first time to fight JC Mateo and Solo Sikoa in the main event of the evening. Jacob Fatu pins new United States Champion Solo Sikoa clean to end the night. Fatu would attempt to put Sikoa through the announce table, only to be interrupted by Hikuleo and Tonga Loa, who instead put Fatu through the table. It’s unclear if this is a dark segment or part of the live show, but after this incident, Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso would make the save to conclude the tapings.
That’s all for the WWE SmackDown spoilers for July 4th, 2025.
