A Former World Heavyweight Champion has been added to the King of the Ring tournament, offering a WWE Raw redemption.
The Resch Center in Green Bay, WI will see Jey Uso enter the grueling tournament as he eyes an instant shot at the championship he lost to Gunther last week.
Here’s the full preview for WWE Raw, which airs live on Netflix worldwide at 8:00 ET/5:00 PT. WWE Raw GM Adam Pearce is on holiday, so WWE SmackDown GM Nick Aldis covers his shift.
WWE Raw Match Card (6/16/25)
- King of the Ring: Jey Uso vs. Sheamus vs. Rusev vs. Bronson Reed
- Queen of the Ring: Stephanie Vaquer vs. Raquel Rodriguez vs. Asuka vs. Ivy Nile
- Liv Morgan vs. Kairi Sane
- Bayley Appears

King of the Ring
Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes, and Sami Zayn have already qualified in First Round King of the Ring matches. The final first-round bout takes place this week.
Jey Uso has been added to the match after he lost his World Heavyweight Championship last week. Sheamus, Rusev and Bronson Reed are the other three men in the match. It was a pretty even contest between the three behemoths. But Uso is now the clear favorite.
An eventual shot at WWE SummerSlam against a champion of their choosing is the prize. Most men would struggle not to challenge the record 17-time WWE Champion John Cena. But Uso would surely target Gunther and the World Heavyweight Championship.
Meanwhile, Gunther could be the target of Goldberg. A dream match between the two would be a great centerpiece for Night of Champions.
Last time WWE had a big show in Atlanta – Bad Blood 2024 – Gunther trash talked Goldberg. Saturday Night’s Main Event emanates from Goldberg’s hometown of Atlanta next month which is surely too good an opportunity to miss.
Queen of the Ring and Evolution
Stephanie Vaquer, or the returning Asuka, are the two favorites in the Queen of the Ring opening round match. Ivy Nile and Raquel Rodriguez would both need to pull off a career-defining victory to win the contest.
Roxanne Perez, Jade Cargill, and Alexa Bliss have already progressed to the next round.
Fresh from attacking Nikki Bella last week, Liv Morgan takes on Kairi Sane tonight. With one-half of the Women’s Tag Team Champions starting a war with one-half of WWE’s most famous twins, a championship match involving the Bellas at Evolution seems a reasonable wish.
Last week Bayley let her fists do the talking for her when she gave Becky Lynch the receipt she was owed for taking her out of WrestleMania. Bayley will use her words this week to challenge the new Women’s Intercontinental Champion. Evolution also seems a great place to settle this score.
Lyra Valkyria might have something to say about the state of the Women’s Intercontinental Championship.
