Bronson Reed returned to WWE at Saturday Night’s Main Event to align himself with Seth Rollins.
Since Rollins began forming his faction after WrestleMania 41, even the tightest-lipped wrestling fan has failed not to gossip about who else might align with “The Visionary.”
Bronson Reed is the perfect third man to join Rollins and Bron Breakker, along with Paul Heyman, in WWE’s newest supergroup. Here’s why.
Can’t Beat Bronson Reed, Enlist Him
Rollins wants to dominate WWE Raw. There are many superstars he knows he can get the better of. Bronson Reed is not one of them.
Reed put Rollins on the shelf in August, last year, after hitting six Tsunamis and drawing internal bleeding. When Rollins returned for vengeance, Reed again managed to dominate him.
Reed was the overall winner of the feud after a decisive WWE Raw victory over Rollins in November. We will find out if Rollins or Heyman was the man who convinced Reed to join their gang. But both men are far too clever to leave the destructive force Reed not under their control.
Rollins and Breakker were beginning to lose the numbers game on WWE Raw. An acquisition was needed. Reed is the perfect acquisition for Rollins and Heyman.
But what they can offer Reed is also perfect for him.
Makes Storyline Sense
Reed returns after six months sidelined when he suffered an injury at Survivor Series: War Games. Who was responsible for this? CM Punk.
Punk pulled Roman Reigns out of the way of Reed when he attempted a Tsunami from the top of the War Games cage. Reed hit the bare canvas and crashed through a table. If Punk had left Reigns where he was Reed wouldn’t have become injured.
Reed returning to attack CM Punk makes perfect sense.
Sami Zayn was also in the War Games match and engaged in a feud with Reed when he became injured. Reed had unfinished business with Zayn, and bad blood with Punk. It makes perfect sense that he would choose to return when both men were in a tag team match together.
Bronson Reed’s Rise To The Top
Reed missed out on the WWE Elimination Chamber in his home country Australia in 2024. This was the spark for Reed to stop accepting his position in WWE and force a rise to the top.
Joining forces with Rollins and his faction, which claims to be the future of WWE, is a very logical decision for the driven Australian.
Finally, WWE Raw is suffering from an uninspiring tag team division at the moment. Reed and Breakker would make an insanely dominant team. Both men will want something to show from their allegiance to Rollins. Shiny tag titles would be a good start.
Also, with John Cena and Logan Paul booked for a Money in the Bank tag match with Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes, WWE could be set for an all-star tag division. Reed and Breakker dominating over the biggest stars in WWE would help their rise to top stars in WWE.
