WWE Raw results for the June 9, 2025 edition of the flagship show are presented LIVE. Check back throughout the night for updates on all of the match outcomes, developing stories, major returns, and more.
A few weeks ago, Gunther made a huge announcement. The Ring General told everyone that he would be facing the winner of the Saturday Night’s Main Event clash between Jey Uso and Logan Paul. With his championship rematch on the line, there is no doubt Gunther is going to head into this week’s Raw with his eyes on the prize. The question however, is will Uso be able to do the same? This week’s Raw takes place just two days after Money in the Bank saw Seth Rollins emerge victorious in winning his second briefcase. And no one needs any reminders of just how dangerous and calculated Rollins can be now that he wields this immense power and control. Will Uso or Gunther for that matter find themselves looking over their shoulders tonight?
In addition to the world championship match, the qualifying is officially set to begin for the Queen and King of the Ring tournaments. Check back later for the full WWE Raw results of these first round matchups.

WWE Raw Results (6/9/25)
The Champ…is…Pissed
For the first time since he won his record-breaking 17th world championship at WrestleMania 41, John Cena suffered a loss. And it came at the hands of the man who once called Cena his childhood hero. Cena opened up Raw to unpack that but first, the last real champion took a moment to take in the dueling chants/boos. Cena told the fans that they taught him something at Money in the Bank: “truth is a lie.” Cena said the fans wasted their energy to save the career of a “sideshow comedian” whose greatest achievement was pretending to be him. And they were proud of it. Cena said bringing Truth back accomplished nothing before calling the fans “spineless keyboard warriors” and “ignorant armchair activists” with no real power to enact change. Cena said R-Truth was just a gimmick who the fans wouldn’t care about a year from now. Cena then turned to the camera to address Truth saying he would never use him to his benefit ever again.
This was Cena’s farewell, dammit! He took time to count down his dates again. We’re halfway toward the end. Cena said if the fans really wanted to accomplish something they’d use their voice to send him competition, not the class clown. Everyone the fans have cheered for so far – Truth, Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton – Cena has beaten them all.
And that’s where things got interesting as Cult of Personality played and here comes CM Punk. Ladies and gentlemen, get ready, as it looks like these two are finally gearing up to one last match! The two icons stood in the ring as Punk sized up Cena before taking the mic. Punk said he was hoping Cena was comfortable as he needed to get a lot off his chest and he was going to make the champ listen right here, right now. Punk noted the irony of the situation. Cena said he was going to ruin wrestling, what made him what he is and it was Punk defending it. In particular, the fans. Punk said Cena was mad because the establishment picked him but the fans never did. They picked Punk. Punk said Cena only beat Rhodes because he cheated and took shortcuts. Punk said he wasn’t going to kiss the Final Boss’ ass. The people are his boss and it’s job to give them what they want.
We’re all spokes on the wheel, Punk reminded Cena, including him. Punk officially made the challenge. At Elimination Chamber, they locked up for the first time in over a decade and the last thing Punk heard before he lost consciousness from the STF was Cena screaming “I’m sorry.” Punk said Cena knew then as he knows now that what he’s doing is wrong. The fans chanted “You sold out.” Punk said when he takes the title, Cena’s retirement tour turns into his apology tour. Punk said the title corrupted Cena the same way it did to him. One of Punk’s goals isn’t to win the title as he’s afraid of the man he becomes when he has it. But someone has to take that title from Cena. Punk needs to become a monster, to stop the monster. To certain guys, the title just means power and control but to Punk, the title belongs to the people. After tonight, Cena just has 18 dates left and due to Punk still having a little respect for Cena, he’s going to let him choose which date he takes the title from him. Punk tried to goad Cena into tonight being the date but alas Phoenix will only have one world championship match. Cena said a match like this would mean Punk would have to go to Saudi Arabia, specifically Night of Champions. Just as Punk seemed to agree, Mr. Money in the Bank arrived to cackle.
Becky Lynch is a Wanted Man
Becky Lynch is the new Women’s Intercontinental Champion and she came out on Monday to remind the fans of just how special that was. Lynch said it was rare that there was a chance for her to celebrate doing something for the first time in her career given all that she had accomplished. The new champ then proceeded to run down all of those accomplishments. Lynch said she was making the IC title about opportunity because now that she was champ, the title was the most relevant its ever been. Lynch said she should have been able to celebrate but she couldn’t because Lyra Valkyria tried to kill her after she lost the title. Lynch demanded Valkyria come out and apologize but before she could, Bayley returned to ambush Lynch, the woman who cost her an opportunity at WrestleMania 41. Lynch tried to run but Valkyria met her at the ramp and threw her back into the ring where Bayley got a few more licks in.
Ron Killings is Here to Say What’s Up
Killings told the fans that no one should tell them their voices don’t matter because people heard, listened, and understood. He’s only back because of the fans. The crowd chanted Truth as Killings told them they wanted Truth, well now they got him. He’s back for all of the fans but he’s also back for himself. Killings said we all love R-Truth including himself but Truth can be too funny, too nice, and too forgiving. But Killings isn’t those things. He said he feels different. He feels alive and for anyone who thinks he’s a lie, some sideshow act, or just a gimmick…Killings pulled out scissors and cut his hair off. The crowd chanted “Holy shit.” As he held the hair in his hand, Killings said the truth has set him free as he re-introduced himself to the fans. He’s Ron Killings, the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth and it was time to put some respect on his name.
Nikki Bella Builds to Evolution 2
Nikki Bella returned to her hometown only to be interrupted by Liv Morgan. After the two traded insults, Morgan hit Bella with the Oblivion. While nothing has been confirmed, it seems Bella vs Morgan could be one of the matches coming up for July’s Evolution 2 PLE.
WWE Raw Match Results
AJ Styles defeated Chad Gable.
Queen of the Ring Qualifying: An incredible match ended when Raquel Rodriguez got involved to pull Rhea Ripley off of Liv Morgan while going for the cover. This led to Kairi Sane taking advantage with an elbow to Morgan but no, Roxanne Perez used the opportunity to stack up Sane and Morgan to pin Sane to advance. So much for Perez and Morgan’s brief alliance. Perez is the first woman to qualify for the Queen of the Ring semifinals.
King of the Ring Qualifying: A great start to the men’s tournament as a fantastic match ended when LA Knight made a surprise appearance to take out Bron Breakker, allowing Sami Zayn to hit a Helluva Kick on Dominik Mysterio to advance to the semifinals. Zayn is the first man to qualify for the next round.
Gunther defeated Jey Uso to regain the world title after putting a series of sleeper holds on the champ.
