TNA Under Siege was the show you couldn’t miss. Joe Hendry will defend the TNA World Championship at NXT Battleground this Sunday, and the next TNA PLE, Against All Odds, is in 2 weeks. Since the WWE/TNA partnership, every TNA PPV has become a moment to be surprised, excited, and puzzled.
If you carefully read my preview and iMPACT! After the Bell, you will soon know if Nygma’s crystal ball was right or wrong, and if that night was as rebellious as expected.

The Nygma’s View
No Title Changes
Three TNA titles were on the line last night, and not one changed hands.
It was do or die for Spitfire. If they didn’t capture the Knockouts World Tag Team Titles from Ash & Heather by Elegance, they would disband. And this was a Match By Elegance, meaning there are no DQs and count-outs. TNA’s newest Knockouts, Myla Grace and Harley Hudson, watched the action from the front row.
Each team had its toys. Spitfire used a hockey stick, a lot of chairs, and a table. The Elegances used hairspray, rhinestones, glitter, a Champagne bottle, and Maggie Lee. Spitfire must disband. The Elegances retain the titles and have a new and elegant friend.
Robert Stone introduced the next TNA Knockouts World Champion, Victoria Crawford. And he was wrong. Masha Slamovich retained the title, despite one Robert Stone’s distraction, Slamovich inadvertently knocking the referee down as Crawford took Slamovich out with the title. After the match, Slamovich said that she wants to give a Knockouts World Title opportunity to someone who is a warrior, someone like Léi Ying Lee. Robert Stone told Lee that she needed to earn that opportunity, and could do so this Thursday on iMPACT!
Since Jeff Hardy couldn’t travel to Canada, Leon Slater joined forces with Matt Hardy to challenge The Nemeths for the TNA World Tag Team Championship. Sadly for them, the Nemeths are dirty players. Even if Hardy and Slater made one hell of a match, when Slater had Nic beat with a Swanton 450, Ryan pulled the referee out of the ring and slowed up Hardy to help Nic Nemeth win.
Game not over
Mike Santana is not rid of AJ Francis yet because he couldn’t compete against him. AJ Francis revealed that he was unable to compete due to injury, and taking his place against Mike Santana would be KC Navarro. It was a pretty good match, with Santana prevailing. After the match, Santana shook Navarro’s hand, but AJ Francis attacked Santana with his crutch. Navarro reluctantly joined in on the assault.
After Ace Austin was taken out of action at Mustafa Ali’s hands, The Rascalz and Indi Hartwell had to find another partner to battle Order 4. They had none when they came to the ring, until Ali’s former ally, Raj Singh, made his shocking return. This time, Nygma can’t say The Rascalz were robbed because the 8-person match situation was definitely against them. After the match, Dirty Ali used the apron skirt to choke Singh. Tasha Steelz tried to stop him, and Ali pushed her to the floor.
“Border Brawl” Prelude
Eric Young wished Cody Deaner good luck in his upcoming match. That’s what friends do in real life and wrestling. The fact is, Deaner had no luck at all. Early in the match, Eddie Edwards distracted the referee, allowing Alisha Edwards to attack Deaner from the outside.
Later, Alisha Edwards got up on the apron as Eddie clobbered Deaner with The System ring. She hit Deaner with a low blow, as Eddie Edwards put him away with the Boston Knee Party. Cody Deaner’s TNA career is over, on paper, maybe. Nygma says, Rematch.
The System joined The Edwards in the ring after the match, attacked Deaner, and insulted Canada (remember, Border Brawl on Sunday night). The Northern Armory rushed, and a 6-Man impromptu match was made. Despite all the efforts of Alisha Edwards to distract and interfere, Eric Young, Judas Icarus, and Travis Williams prevailed. Young also took a serious X-Division title option as he is the one who pinned Moose.
The Dances of Temptation
Xia Brookside embraced the darkness. Rosemary made absolutely everything necessary to make her snap, retrieving a staple gun and a leather belt to make The Devil get out of Brookside. Brookside hit a DDT, then whipped Rosemary with the belt to cause the disqualification. After the bell rang, Brookside continued the assault on Rosemary and even members of the security team. The walk on the wild side has started for Xia Brookside. What the Demon Assassin wants, “We” get it, one way or another.
Robert Stone hated to do this (don’t buy it…), but Santino Marella knew the rules. Marella didn’t have an official manager’s license, so he couldn’t be at the ringside. NXT’s Arianna Grace did her best, but Tessa Blanchard prevailed. After the match, Santino Marella checked on Arianna Grace as Tessa Blanchard walked to the back. Robert Stone came out and was sorry that Grace lost. Stone poked at Marella and told security to take him away.
Joe Hendry teamed up with Elijah against Trick Williams and Frankie Kazarian, but they didn’t make the best team. They argued to start. Later, Williams inadvertently took out Kazarian with the Trick Shot. Hendry finished the job on Kazarian with a Standing Ovation. After the match, Joe Hendry went face-to-face with Trick Williams.
