In one breath, WWE is building both to Saturday Night’s Main Event on May 24 and Money in the Bank on June 7. This week on the WWE Raw card, the SNME card began to take shape as it was announced that in addition to Jey Uso defending his world title against Logan Paul, that there would be a massive tag team showdown of Bron Breakker and Seth Rollins vs CM Punk and Sami Zayn. Next week, WWE shifts gears a bit as it begins its build to Money in the Bank.
WWE Raw Card Next Week (5/19/25)
While it’s unknown who will be taking part, WWE did announce that on next week’s Raw, the Money in the Bank qualifying matches will kick off for the red brand as wrestlers look to earn their way into the chaotic ladder match. It should be noted that 27 of the 33 cash-in attempts in the history of the briefcase have been successful. For those looking to win a championship, securing their spot in that match could be the best way to go about that goal. We’ll know the names of several qualifiers after Friday as the first matches will be taking place on this week’s SmackDown.
In addition to Money in the Bank qualifying matches, WWE also announced several other bouts taking place next week for the WWE Raw card.
- Jey Uso vs Bron Breakker – this is a non-title match brought about by Breakker attacking Uso with a lead pipe on this week’s Raw.
- Sheamus vs Grayson Waller – two weeks ago, Grayson Waller dodged Sheamus by setting up his partner Austin Theory for the match instead. Next week, Waller can’t hide from the Celtic Warrior as Sheamus has requested Waller one-on-one.
- AJ Styles and Penta vs Finn Balor and JD MCDonagh – this week, Balor battled Styles in a match that saw Styles win after Penta showed up to negate Judgment Day’s interference. Next week, Penta and Styles will team against Balor and McDonagh as a result.
