WWE NXT Results (5/27/25) – Battleground Fallout

The May 27 edition of WWE NXT emanates from the Capitol Wrestling Center in Orlando, Florida. This will be the Battleground fallout. The WWE NXT results for this week can be found here when the show goes live at 8 PM ET/5 PM PT on the CW Network.

The show is set to feature two championship bouts, with Stephanie Vaquer defending her NXT Women’s Championship and Ricky Saints defending his NXT North American Championship. They do so against Jacy Jayne and Ethan Page respectively.

TNA’s Mike Santana will make his NXT debut against No Quarter Catch Crew’s Tavion Heights. Jaida Parker and Tatum Paxley will also meet in a singles match. LFG season one winner, Jasper Troy, will be making his in-ring debut, although his opponent is yet to be determined.

Newly-minted TNA World Champion Trick Williams will also be on the May 27 NXT. It will be interesting to see what his first move will be, and who will have something to say about his title win.

Here is all that went down on the May 27 edition of NXT.

WWE NXT Results (5/27/25)

Ricky Saints (c) vs. Ethan Page [NXT North American Championship]

With the bad blood between Ricky Saints and Ethan Page, there were extra security and officials ringside. The pair did not waste any time, as they immediately began beating each other down, with ring announcer Mike Rome barely able to get through his introductions. NXT General Manager Ava came out, and it appears she told the referee to use his discretion and let the match play out, so as to get a decisive winner.

With the steel chair conveniently placed there, Page plants Saints right on it, hurting his throat. The match continues though, and the two keep the fight up, bringing the best they can to each other. Page continues to work on that throat, which ultimately leads to him being able to pick up the victory and crown him the new NXT North American Champion.

Fatal Influence Backstage Interview

With an NXT Women’s Championship opportunity tonight, Jacy Jayne is backstage giving an interview. She is flanked by her Fatal Influence stablemates, Fallon Henley and Jazmyn Nyx, with the former being less than pleased that she is not the one getting the title opportunity. Jayne lets Henley know that, with or without her, she plans to bring the gold back to the stable.

Mike Santana vs. Tavion Heights

Mike Santana made his promotional debut for WWE on the May 27 edition of NXT. He did so against No Quarter Catch Crew’s Tavion Heights, after the two agreed to have a match at Battleground. The match is quite intense and fast-paced, with both Santana and Heights looking to show out.

Santana ultimately picked up the victory, much to the chagrin of Heights’ NQCC stablemate, Charlie Dempsey. Despite this, Santana and Heights showed each other respect and shook hands.

High Ryze Focus

Wes Lee, Tyson DuPont, and Tyriek Igwe have a promo clip. They talk about all that they are and bring to NXT.

Kale Dixon and Uriah Connors Seize The Moment

Kale Dixon and Uriah Connors are backstage with Andre Chase, and they are getting advice on pursuing opportunities. Just then, Ava passes by, and the pair approaches her for a match. Ava grants their match request – they (along with Chase) will take on three members of Darkstate on the June 3 edition of NXT.

Tony D’Angelo and Luca Crusifino Meet

Tony D’Angelo and Luca Crusifino meet in a promo segment. The pair talks about where Crusifino was all this time, and D’Angelo lets him know that he does not know whom to trust. Crusifino insists that D’Angelo can trust him.

Trick Williams’ First Address as TNA World Champion

Trick Williams addresses the NXT Universe for the first time as TNA World Champion. He calls out the fans for waving their hands and supporting Joe Hendry. Williams then says that, since he was not appreciated in NXT, he is about to run things at TNA (or TrickNA, as he now calls it).

TNA’s Santana, who had a match earlier in the night, interrupted Williams. The two do not have a pleasant exchange, and this leads to an on-camera announcement from TNA’s Director of Authority, Santino Marella. Trick Williams will make his first TNA World Championship defense on the June 3 NXT, and it will be against Mike Santana.

Stephanie Vaquer Gets A Visit from Ava

NXT Women’s Champion Stephanie Vaquer is backstage prepping for her title defense when she gets a visit from Ava. The general manager informs Vaquer that she will be in a tag team match against Chik Tormenta and Dalys, but she needs a partner. Just then, Lola Vice appears and offers to be her tag team partner, and it seems set.

Jaida Parker vs. Tatum Paxley

Tatum Paxley has been an emotional wreck since the departure of her friends, but she had to focus on Jaida Parker tonight. The two put on a match where they both tried to pick up the victory, but Parker takes advantage of Paxley’s emotional state and gets the win. Celebrations do not last too long as Thea Hail attacks Parker post-match.

Jasper Troy vs. Dante Chen

WWE LFG season one winner, Jasper Troy, made his in-ring debut against Dante Chen. Troy makes fairly quick work of Chen, and picks up his first victory in NXT. Oba Femi appears, and he puts Troy on notice following the attack on the May 20 NXT.

No Quarter Catch Crew Backstage Segment

No Quarter Catch Crew is backstage, and Charlie Dempsey seems to be trying to tell Myles Borne and Heights to revert to teamwork rather than singles aspirations. Borne fights back against that, and even wants to leave NQCC. The two agree to a Rounds match next week where, if Borne wins, he will get to leave the stable.

Ethan Page North American Championship Celebration

Page wastes no time throwing himself a celebration after winning the NXT North American Championship. Je’Von Evans interrupts the party and informs Page that he will be defending the title against him at Worlds Collide, but that’s not all. This will be a fatal four-way match also including AAA’s Laredo Kid and SmackDown’s Rey Fenix.

Ava Backstage with Robert Stone and Stevie Turner

Ava is backstage with Robert Stone and Stevie Turner, as they watch Page get the news of his fatal four-way match. Stone and Turner make a case for WWE ID talent Sean Legacy to get a title shot, following his triple-threat victory. Ava informs them that Legacy will get to challenge the winner of the fatal four-way next.

Tatum Paxley Gets A Kind Word

Zaria and NXT Women’s North American Champion Sol Ruca offered some kind words of encouragement to Tatum Paxley. In the near distance, The Culling can be seen watching the moment before walking away.

Stephanie Vaquer (c) vs. Jacy Jayne [NXT Women’s Championship]

Stephanie Vaquer did not waste any time getting this match against Jacy Jayne started. Early on, Chik Tormenta and Dalys came to ringside hoping to cause an interference, but Vice came out and handled them. With that, Vaquer was able to focus on her challenger.

Jayne’s issues with the rest of her Fatal Influence stablemates (particularly Fallon Henley) threaten her chances, as she consistently gets distracted. Just when things are looking up for Vaquer, it seemed that Fatal Influence was back on the same page, and this allowed Jayne to pick up the victory. This was shocking to everyone, but Jacy Jayne is the new NXT Women’s Champion.
