The National Wrestling Alliance announced that Natalya Neidhart will challenge Kenzie Paige for the NWA Women’s World Championship at the Crockett Cup event on May 17 in Philadelphia, PA. As announced in early March, WWE Star Natalya will participate in NWA’s Crockett Cup, but her opponent has not been confirmed until now.
Fresh off a win over Miyu Yamashita at Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport during WrestleMania 41 weekend, Natalya confronted NWA World Women’s Champion Kenzie Paige. This led Corgan to book a title match between the 2 women at the Crockett Cup.
“It’s always our distinct honor to host this modern version of the Crockett Cup, but holding the event in this great and historic building in Philadelphia, with the addition of a WWE Superstar such as Natalya, in an NWA title match no less, shows how far we have come.” – William Patrick Corgan, NWA President
At only 23, Kenzie Paige is the biggest star in the NWA women’s division. She is currently the double champion, holding the NWA Women’s World title for over 600 days and the Women’s Tag Team titles with Big Mama.
The 2025 NWA Crockett Cup will take place at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, airing live on PPV. 16 teams will vie in this historic tag team tournament, with a single winner crowned that night. The Cup will be featuring NWA Tag Champs Knox and Murdoch, The Colons, The Immortals, and last year’s cup winner, The Southern 6.
Also, NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Thom Latimer will face The Man-beast Rhino. NWA also announced visiting luminaries like Gail Kim, Earl Hebner, Alex Hammerstone, and all the great stars of NWA.
