WWE WrestleMania 41 is now less than a month away, and although the build to this year’s “Show of Shows” may have felt slightly drawn out, it’s safe to say that we’re now speeding down the “Road to WrestleMania.”
As of the March 17th episode of Monday Night Raw in Brussels, Belgium, there are only three confirmed matches. This is a trademark of modern WWE storytelling, which has become more unpredictable than ever, with Triple H holding the pen.
Although there are only a handful of official matches, there are some that appear to be all but finalized, with multiple stories outlining clear collision courses for some of the biggest stars on the roster.
With that in mind, we’re going to throw out some early predictions for outcomes of the finalized matches, as well as prospective bouts that could find their way onto the card.
Prediction: Jey Uso Beats Gunther
Despite his “Main Event” moniker, the winner of the 2025 Men’s Royal Rumble looks unlikely to be in the closing spot of either night of WWE WrestleMania 41.
When Jey Uso emerged as the victor of the Royal Rumble, it was certainly a surprising outcome at the time. However, he’s undeniably popular and continues to be over with crowds in every city he visits. This popularity is why it seems impossible to imagine a world where he doesn’t leave Las Vegas with the World Heavyweight Championship.
It won’t be easy for the 10-time tag team champion, as he’s set to go up against the most dominant WWE Intercontinental Champion of all time and a man who has a 3-0 record against him: Gunther.
The “Ring General” has, by his admission, not had the best run that he could’ve had. In an interview with the Daily Mail in February 2025, he stated:
“I don’t think the last few months were ideal for me.”
With the above factors taken into consideration, the most likely outcome of their WWE WrestleMania 41 bout is that Jey Uso will finally figure out how to overcome the Austrian and reach the promised land, picking up the win and the world title in the process.
Predicted Match: Iyo Sky vs. Bianca Belair vs. Rhea Ripley
When Iyo Sky beat Rhea Ripley for the Women’s World Championship on the March 3rd episode of Monday Night Raw, it seemed as though the match was confirmed for WWE WrestleMania 41: Iyo Sky vs. Bianca Belair.
However, since that night, Rhea Ripley has been imposing herself upon this feud and insisting that she gets involved in the match as well.
Although it’s yet to be confirmed, “Mami” signed her name on the contract for the above match and claims to be an official participant.
Despite Ripley’s apparent lack of understanding of contract law, Raw’s GM, Adam Pearce, will likely allow “the Eradicator” to be added to the match, creating what can only be described as a dream match between three of the best performers in the roster.
A case is there to be made for every woman involved, with all three being capable of leading the Raw Women’s roster forward post-WrestleMania. However, Bianca Belair’s undefeated streak on the “Grandest Stage of Them All” seems unlikely to be broken this year.
Unfortunately, it feels as though Iyo Sky’s role in this match will be to take the fall for the eventual winner. WWE would be crazy not to put “the EST” and Rhea Ripley together for a singles match later in the year, so they expected Belair to emerge with the belt and eventually face the Aussie later in 2025.
Prediction: Charlotte Flair Beats Tiffany Stratton
On the subject of fantastic women’s matches, this one could easily stand out on whichever night of WrestleMania it takes place. The winner of the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble, Charlotte Flair, has called her shot and is set to face the WWE Women’s Champion, Tiffany Stratton.
Since her arrival on the main roster in February 2024, Tiffany Stratton has taken the SmackDown women’s roster by storm and risen straight to the top.
Star-making performances in the Elimination Chamber and the Money in the Bank ladder match gave WWE every reason to crown her so early in her career. Still, she’s now up against arguably her toughest test in Charlotte Flair.
Flair has shown a more violent side of herself in recent weeks and will likely come to WrestleMania with plans of shutting down Stratton and keeping a firm grasp on a torch she’s unwilling to pass.
With that in mind, a win for Stratton would leave her without many viable competitors moving forward, and a role as the chasing babyface would work wonders for her throughout 2025. Therefore, expect Charlotte Flair to capture the gold yet again, with an eye on a rematch later in the year.
Predicted Match: CM Punk vs Seth Rollins vs. Roman Reigns
This, much like the previous triple threat mentioned, is a match that has been predicted for quite some time but is yet to be made official.
After CM Punk eliminated both Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns during the WWE Royal Rumble 2025, reports emerged that the three would collide in a triple-threat encounter at WWE WrestleMania 41.
Before that night, it had been reported by Fightful Select that Punk vs. Reigns was the planned match, with Rollins reportedly having been scheduled to face Gunther. However, a three-way bout between these men is arguably a bigger match for all involved, and it is certainly more unpredictable.
Seth Rollins’ segment on the Brussels episode of Monday Night Raw all but confirmed that this match will be taking place, as he’ll be facing off with Punk and the “OTC” on WWE SmackDown in Bologna, Italy on March 21st.
The harder part of this prediction isn’t the match itself but the eventual outcome. Reigns, Rollins, and the “Voice of the Voiceless” could all realistically pick up the win, but a statement win for CM Punk would likely be a popular one.
Expect this match to main event Night One of WWE WrestleMania 41 due to the star power involved, with the “Second City Saint” coming away with the win and moving on to a ground-breaking feud with Roman Reigns around the summer.
Prediction: John Cena Beats Cody Rhodes
After 20 years, it finally happened. John Cena snapped and sold his soul to the “Final Boss,” Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. His heart-breaking heel turn on Cody Rhodes set up an emotional encounter for the main event of WWE WrestleMania 41, as Rhodes and Cena will square off for the Undisputed WWE Championship.
Cody Rhodes is set to have his fourth successive WWE WrestleMania main event in a row against arguably his toughest challenger yet, a newly nefarious Cena.
However, with rumors that “Stone Cold” Steve Austin could have a surprise appearance at the “Show of Shows,” could there be hope that the “American Nightmare” can vanquish his hero and retain his Undisputed WWE Championship? In short, no.
John Cena’s betrayal of Rhodes at WWE Elimination Chamber 2025 marked a historic moment in wrestling history, and it should lead to another: Cena’s record-breaking 17th world title win.
Although it feels odd to be so sure of a victory for the villain, it would be a shortfall on WWE’s part if Cena didn’t rip the title away from Cody Rhodes on April 20th. An emphatic win for the bad guy would be devastating, yet it makes perfect sense.
Rhodes is undeniably the most popular star in the company, and a loss to John Cena wouldn’t do him any harm. Also, a story in the summer that culminates in both Rhodes reclaiming his title and Cena redeeming himself with the fans would be too good to pass up on.
It is difficult to see any other outcome than an emphatic win for John Cena, although the show’s final image could be a crowd-pleasing appearance from “Stone Cold,” helping Rhodes stand tall even after a defeat.
