Why Charlotte Flair is Facing Tiffany Stratton at WWE WrestleMania 41

After the Women’s Royal Rumble was completed, Charlotte Flair was the last woman standing. Coming back after over a year away, she looked better than ever as she gained a world title opportunity. The only question after that was who she was going to face.

She could’ve faced Rhea Ripley for the Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania 41, which would be a rematch from WrestleMania 39.

Another option would’ve been a match with Giulia at NXT Stand & Deliver. But instead of those two, she picked Tiffany Stratton, the current WWE Women’s Championship holder. With two months until Mania, SmackDown will be her home for the time being.

There are a lot of reasons why this was a smart choice for her. Charlotte Flair made the right decision not only for her but for Tiffany as well.

Charlotte Flair Thinks Tiffany Stratton is an Easy Win

If you know anything about Charlotte Flair, it’s that she loves her championships. Always flaunting her title wins and resume to everyone, she clearly believes her hype. With 14 titles to her name, she can back up her claims.

When she had her promo battle with Rhea Ripley, she was reminded of a dark time in her career. She lost the SmackDown Women’s Championship to her the last time they faced off. Reminding her of that night made her decision easy. If she faced Rhea, she would be in for a hard-fought fight.

But if she faced Tiffany, the battle would be easy for her. She sees Tiffany as a rookie, someone who doesn’t have a lot of tricks up her sleeve. In Charlotte Flair’s mind, she’s leagues ahead of Tiffany, so she’s envisioning the match as a fast way to become a champion again.

Tiffany Gets to Face a Great Wrestler

Tiffany Stratton has done a lot since getting called up to the main roster. In just over a year, she’s been in the Elimination Chamber, won and cashed in the Money in the Bank contract, and is now competing in WrestleMania. Working with someone like Charlotte Flair will add even more to her impressive resume.

With over a decade of wrestling experience, there is so much she will teach her as they prepare for the match. Having veterans like her around allows call-ups to learn from women who have been multi-time champions and have been on the roster for years. Having Bayley, Nia Jax, and Charlotte as her first three title match opponents has helped her become a better wrestler.

By Charlotte Flair choosing her to face at WrestleMania, Tiffany Stratton gets to have a match with one of the most accomplished women’s wrestlers in WWE history.

The Veteran and the Young Star Are a Perfect Match

When you compare the first years on the main roster of both Charlotte and Tiffany, there are a lot of similarities. Both had tons of achievements and a WrestleMania match within that time.

She probably remembers her fast start on the main roster while also seeing herself in Tiffany. With that in mind, Tiffany probably has the same thoughts. Working with someone who is accomplished can greatly help her in the ring. Both women can add to their resumes if they win. Charlotte can win her record eighth Women’s World Championship, further cementing her status as a future Hall of Famer.

Tiffany can claim a victory against a legendary opponent, continuing her rapid rise on the main roster and potentially making the match a passing of the torch moment. Charlotte Flair made the right choice by picking Tiffany Stratton, which helped both of them in a variety of ways.
