WWE Raw will now feature a Women’s Intercontinental Championship match tomorrow (March 3, 2025).
This means there will be three championship matches on WWE Raw from Buffalo, NY.
Ivy Nile has been pushing for a WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship match ever since the title was brought into the WWE. Nile has been fired up by her mentor in American Made Chad Gable to win the gold.
Nile narrowly lost a number one contender’s match a few weeks ago to Dakota Kai. But WWE Raw GM Adam Pearce has obviously seen enough to award “The Pitbull” a shot at Lyra Valkyria.
Meanwhile, number one contender for the Women’s World Championship Bianca Belair will be in Buffalo to witness Rhea Ripley defend her title against IYO SKY. Belair will meet the winner at WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas next month.
Gunther, CM Punk, and Seth Rollins are also advertised for WWE Raw. Last week, Gunther made an example of the comedic Alpha Academy. Will the World Heavyweight Champion continue to target the group, and will Akira Tozawa take his advice to take himself more seriously?
The World Tag Team Championship is also on the line on the show.
