WWE Raw Results from WWE Raw Tonight – Raw Matches Tonight

Monday Night Paul

It was time for Monday Night Paul as Logan Paul kicked off this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw. Paul reminded the booing Cincy crowd that he’s also a native Ohioan, but he’s way better. He tells a story. As he was flying in, he saw dreary Cincinnati and almost told his pilot to turn around and go home. But then, he showed his humble side and decided to go to Cincy and perform for the peasants. “You suck” chants followed before the local dig at the sports team reference came in with a dig at Bengals’ Joe Burrow. Paul went on to say last time he was in a ring he defeated Rey Mysterio to punch his ticket to the chamber where he’ll defeat “three doorknobs and John Cena.” Well, at least he’s being nice to the GOAT…Paul kept chirping but you know how this goes by now. He was interrupted by Clobberin’ Time U, who received a warm welcome from the crowd. As Punk made his way through the crowd, Michael Cole told a story about how Punk locked Pat McAfee in a porta potty. Go on, Google it, we’ll be here when you get back…

Oh, you’re back. Hope that video was worth it. They hyped it up for a while. Apparently it’s made the social media rounds. Paul questioned why the crowd had a problem with him before turning his attention to Punk saying he was jealous of him because he succeeds at every single thing he does outside of the ring. But Punk has failed upwards his whole career. So Paul said, “is that why you don’t like me?” Punk said he actually doesn’t have a problem with Paul, but he thinks he’s a dime a dozen. He’s seen them come, he’s seen them go. He’s not a generational talent. He has no character and no substance and the people deserve better. Paul disagreed saying Punk coming back was such a great return but what happened? He cracked under pressure and tore his tricep. Paul says Punk couldn’t handle the spotlight and that’s why he’s there. People like Punk, that’s all the people know, but the fact is, the name changes and it’s only a matter of time before they are chanting Paul’s name. Given that reaction, he might be waiting a while as the crowd continued to chant for Punk.

Punk said Paul was right that the names do change. Names like Stone Cold, John Cena, Punk himself, they are legends. They’ve all made history. Paul has never made history. He’s barely a flash in the pan. Punk says Paul won’t be there long enough for the fans to even know or remember who he is. Punk promises to eliminate him, little payback for the rumble. He’ll go to WrestleMania, face Cody Rhodes, and leave Las Vegas with the world title. He’ll make history but Paul will be history. This is all for him, not Rhodes, not Paul. Everyone is going to find out on Saturday that Punk is Satan himself and Paul is nobody. Ouch. Punk and Paul faced off before Paul got in a cheap slap and rolled out of the ring laughing. Punk told him to run while he still could because come Saturday, it will be walls of steel with nowhere to run.

Credit to Paul. His promo skills are improving. Not everyone can hang with the greats and he did a formidable job holding his own and getting in a few non-verbal jabs as well at the legend.

Ludwig Kaiser vs Pete Dunne vs Penta

A short recap of Kaiser, Dunne, and Penta’s interactions of late aired before Kaiser made his entrance first. Into the commercial-non-commercial break depending on your market and Kaiser has a mic. Kaiser says he’s demanding gratitude. He’s done asking. From now on, he just takes what he wants. Just like last week when he walked down to the ring to punish Penta and take back what was originally his, the attention. The attention Penta has had and that Kaiser has been deserving for a long time. Kaiser claims Dunne got in the way but that doesn’t change anything as after tonight, the attention will stay on him. He guarantees 2025 is his year before hopping the barricade and admonishing the fans. Dunne was next to make an un-televised entrance. Nothing like knowing how important you are in a story than with only one outta three guys getting a real entrance.

An ad promoting WrestleMania 42 aired as we returned from commercial. Rhodes and Rock at Elimination Chamber was teased and by the time things were back to the ring, Kaiser and Dunne were in the ring. Just waiting for one more. Penta made his triumphant entrance and we’re underway.

Dunne chastises Kaiser, who backs to the corner. Enzigiuri to Kaiser to get Penta one-on-one. Doesn’t work out too well. Kaiser back in the ring and Penta with a backstabber as the he hypes up the crowd. Quick Cero Miedo but Kaiser rolls to the outside. Dunne with a huge knee to Kaiser on the outside. Penta through the ropes to take out Dunne. All three engaged on the outside as Kaiser throws Penta into the barricade and kicks Dunne into the steel steps. Just a few moments in and what sounds like a “This is Awesome” chant. Penta to the top rope with the knees to take out both men on the outside. This thing was hot from the get-go. Penta chants from the crowd as he gets Kaiser back in the ring. Kaiser begs him off but Penta with the huge chops to Kaiser and then to Dunne on the apron. Kaiser takes advantage with stomps to Penta. Dunne throws Kaiser out of the ring. Clearly, neither of these guys want anything to do with the other. They just want Penta. Dunne with a stomp on Penta’s hand. Kaiser back in the ring. Slaps to Dunne and right back to Kaiser. Kaiser with the DDT. Dunne to the rop rope but Kaiser with a kick before he gets to the top and starts pounding away on Dunne. Perfect position for Penta who comes in and takes out both men during an ill-timed three second outage. Penta with chops to both men before sligblade to take out Dunne and one to Kaiser. Penta grabs the ropes, fired up. Handstand kick to Kaiser in the corner but not to Dunne. Penta on the apron. Huge hurricanrana to send Dunne crashing into Kaiser. Cero Miedo but no, Kaiser again. Penta flies to take out Dunne and flies to take out Kaiser. Kaiser back in the ring and Penta with the nearfall. Dunne breaks it up. Dunne and Penta back in the ring with the physicality. Kaiser back in, grabs Penta’s mask. Dunne takes Kaiser out and hits the Bitter End on Penta, but no Kaiser breaks it up likely costing Dunne a win over Penta again. Kaiser with the kicks to Dunne but Dunne gets the fingers before Penta with the Mexican Destroyer back in the ring. Setting up for the Sacrifice and it’s good but no Penta Driver. Kaiser, the opportunist, sending Penta out of the ring and stealing his pin on Dunne.

You needed to have your head on a swivel for this one. Fast-paced from the beginning, these three put on a great show. Nice way to start the action off on Raw. Seems Penta isn’t done with Kaiser though…

Cena montage. What’s best for business is Cena winning the title and to do that, he has to win the chamber. On to Rhea Ripley with Jackie Redmond in the crowd. Redmond reminds Ripley she’s got a defense coming up next week. Ripley says she’ll have an eye on the chamber but her full focus is on her match with IYO SKY. She’s never beaten SKY but it’s been five years since their last match and in that time, Ripley says she has become the most dominant woman in the WWE. In that time, she’s beaten everyone. Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, Liv Morgan with the name drops. After next week, she’ll be adding SKY’s name to that list. SKY appears saying next week, she’ll win again and go to WrestleMania as the champ. Ripley holds the title as the two have a stare down.

Another plug for WWE LFG and clip of this week’s episode featuring Road Dogg. That leads us into the New Day’s entrance with their heel gear and their heel music and their heel walk.Clip to remind the crowd of New Day’s attack on Rey Mysterio before heading to a break for some and a New Day promo for others. “New Day sucks” chants before the two can speak. Xavier Woods out first saying he came out to say something nice about Cincy and here it goes. Right here in Cincinnati, their chili is the greatest dog food they’ve ever come across. Kofi Kingston said they special order it for their dogs. Joke not landing aside, Kingston says after weeks of trying to explain their actions they are done. So as the crowd chants at them again, Kingston says dropping Big E was the best move they could have made for their careers. Woods says its the same thing LwO should have done to Mysterio years ago.

New Day vs LwO

An ad for WWE 2K25 brings us back from commercial, cutting New Day off mid-promo. Kingston says LwO should be thanking them and Cincy should be thanking them for coming. Enter the LwO to save us from more New Day rants. Joaquin Wilde and Cruz del Toro storm the ring as New Day bounce to the outside. In the ring, Woods and Wilde to start. Quick moves from both before Wilde with a dropkick to take out Woods and tag in del Toro. Nice double team for the two leads to del Toro with the first near fall of the match. del Toro with huge hurricanrana to take out Woods on the ropes. Series of chops from del Toro but Woods reverses and tags in Kingston who takes out del Toro. Kingston rolls del Toro back in the ring and starts laying the boots to him in the corner. Tag in to Woods who does the same. Back to Kingston, isolating del Toro from Wilde. Huge kick from Woods for a near fall. Woods with the taunt but no, roll up from del Toro. Kick out by Woods and a big right. Back in to Kingston but del Toro gets momentum, taking out Woods. Hot tag to Wilde who takes out both Woods and Kingston. Wilde to the apron with a huge DDT to plant Kingston and then take out Woods. Tag in to del Toro and both members of LwO fly over the top to take out New Day. It’s all LwO right now as del Toro rolls Kingston back in and Wilde up top. But no, Woods distracts the ref and Kingston takes advantage. Woods with the stomp off the top rope to del Toro and this one’s a wrap.

This match was largely in control of LwO but New Day always find a way. After the match, they continued laying the boots to LwO before Dragon Lee showed up to make the save taking out both guys. Two-on-one eventually lets New Day take over, planting Lee to the mat with his stablemates. This seems far from over between these two groups.

Back in the clubhouse, Finn Balor and Dominik Mysterio are already fighting. Balor blames Mysterio for his loss to AJ Styles last week and how embarrassing it was. Mysterio reminds Balor he lost his qualifying match. Carlito chimes in but he’s ignored. Balor says he’s gonna fix things around here as Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez show up to remind this is a huge week. She says things will look up because her and Rodriguez are bringing gold to Judgment Day. Balor says they are bringing trouble to their doorstep but Morgan says they didn’t take out Jade Cargill as the footage shows. The boys leave as Morgan and Rodriguez are left. Judgment Day is still fine. Keep the faith.

Video of WWE superstars visiting card shops for Topps “Rip Night.” They opened a bunch of cards including Chelsea Green opening one of her own. and Miz with an autographed Rock card. Segue into Michael Cole talking about Rock’s offer from last week’s SmackDown, which was kinda all over the place. Gunther seen walking to the ring and it’s announced he’s up next.

Cathy Kelley backstage with Aj Styles asking about Bron Breakker. Styles says he’s always had a target on his back which means he’s doing something right. There are guys who would love to make a name for themselves at his expense, but there are good wrestlers out there and a Phenomenal…insert Logan Paul. He tells Styles he had a great career so it sucks he had to be embarrassed by Paul at the rumble. Styles tells Paul he can’t do it again. Paul says he can but says he doesn’t have time for Styles. It’s admirable he hasn’t given up yet because if it were Paul, he probably would have called it a career. Ouch. And with that, Paul’s “full-time” commitment for the night is over.

Some crowd shots of the Bearcats and Adam Pacman Jones before Gunther takes the mic in the ring. Boos to Gunther, who says he knows the fans can’t contain their excitement because he’s in action tonight. But before that, Gunther addresses WrestleMania. He says he was angry Jey Uso chose him initially but as the weeks go by, he’s realized the opportunity he has to embarrass Uso and end the yeeting for good. Gunther says he took the WrestleMania spirit and offered Adam Pearce the world champ in action tonight. Gunther brought out his hand-picked opponent, Akira Tozawa. This one isn’t gonna be pretty. As Alpha Academy make their way to the ring, Tozawa looks the way the fans watching feel. The point is made that Tozawa is a former champ, albeit a cruiserweight one. Gunther explains why he hand-picked Tozawa. He saw him doing a weird Tik Tok dance and it bothered him because they have some things in common. They both uprooted their lives and got in shape but Tozawa is wasting his career and just like Uso, he’s making the wrong choices. Gunther says Uso’s choice will cost him a career but tonight he can achieve something Uso never will – he can earn his respect.

Guther vs Akira Tozawa

Gunther starts pushing him around before the bell rings and Tozawa starts hot taking it to Gunther but no, huge boot from Gunther. Tozawa tries to fight back but Gunther continues beating him down every time he gets a little bit of momentum. But Tozawa with a roll-up and he almost got him. Up to the top rope but Gunther catches him and he’s done playing. Tozawa fights to the bottom rope though with Otis’ encouragement. Gunther continues slapping Tozawa, who starts to chop back, but again, Gunther brings him to the mat. Gunther has him pinned but then pulls him up. He wants more. Sleeper locked in and Tozawa passes out as the ref calls for the bell. Appreciate this wasn’t your standard squash. After the match, Otis came in and ran Gunther off for a minute but then Gunther with a sleeper to Otis as Uso made his way to the ring. Gunther once again retreated. We’ve seen nothing yet to suggest Uso has a prayer against Gunther but this is now the second week in a row, Gunther has at least seemed a little hesitant to mix it up with his opponent.

Clip from Cole’s appearance on Logan Paul’s podcast talking about McAfee. On to the Patistrator to talk about Cole’s physical appearance on the show. Some more banter between the two as it’s announced the women’s intercontinental championship match is up next.

Another commercial break with Redmond previewing the Women’s Elimination Chamber hype package showing how each woman qualified. Onto another clip from WWE LFG and a quick recap of Kai winning her match against Ivy Nile last week to earn this opportunity

Women’s Intercontinental Championship: Dakota Kai vs Lyra Valkyria

Valkyria and Kai feeling each other out early with Kai getting a quick near fall. But Valkyria takes back control getting Kai on to the apron. Kai with the counter and a cannonball to take Valkyria down on the outside. Into another commercial break but the action continues with both women going back-and-forth. Kai with some dropkicks for a near fall. Fans getting involved as Valkyria plants Kai. Another near fall. Valkyria with the power move and a series of holds. She gets Kai to her feet and Kai fights back tossing Valkyria into the corner. Kai to the top rope beating down Valkyria. Both women up as the show returns from break. Valkyria fighting back with knees to Kai as both women back on the second rope. Valkyria using her strength. Huge vertical suplex to bring both women to the mat. “Holy shit” chants follow. Both women with rights, fighting from their knees. To their feet and Kai with a kick but no, reversal of pinfalls from both women until Valkyria with the bridge. Kai kicks out but she can’t get the backslide. The sequence continues. Kai with another near fall. And another. She’s dominating this part of the match. “This is Awesome” chants as Kai takes out Valkyria in the corner and gets another near fall. Valkyria fights to the apron and both women back on the second rope. Valkyria’s turn to take advantage as she hits Nightwing. This one’s over.

That match was quick and action-packed. Great showing for both champ and challenger, who embrace each other afterward. But feel good moment over, Nile takes out Kai and then hits the ring and takes out Valkyria before picking up the title and holding it in the air. Message made pretty clear. Nile wants a shot at the title.

Teaser for WWE Evolve, which will officially premiere next Wednesday on Tubi. It’s followed by a video package highlighting some of the biggest highlights of the Sami Zayn/Kevin Owens rivalry/friendship over the years. Redmond is backstage with Zayn in a clip from earlier today. Zayn says he went over to Owens’ house and no one was home but his mom was visiting and they got to talking and it was great to see her. When Zayn got home, he was ashamed of himself and couldn’t look himself in the mirror because hr didn’t recognize who he was. He didn’t know his intentions but they weren’t good. For all they’ve been through, their families have never been involved so he doesn’t recognize himself or Owens because of what they both did. It’s different this time because they don’t know what the other is capable of right now. Zayn reminds he’s not 100 percent before he turns to the camera and addresses Owens specifically saying this is going to be worse than anything they’ve ever done to one another. It’s going to be a bad time for both of them. Zayn hopes Owens is ready.

Mysterio is seen backstage where it’s announced he’ll have a match against Breakker. Well, that won’t end well. On to a commercial break and an interview with Bayley, who is quickly interrupted by Roxanne Perez who claims this is her era now. She says after the chamber she’s going to WrestleMania because no one is on her level. Bayley reminds her she’s been in a chamber match and has won, just like she’s won a rumble and won at WrestleMania. Bayley says Perez’ time will come, but its just not this year.

Mysterio makes his way to the ring with Carlito and Balor. Back from commercial with a preview of the WrestleMania weekend shows. Belair and Naomi will a quick video to hype up their main event title match tonight. A clip showing Mysterio’s WWE 2K25 entrance airs before another showing Mysterio getting speared by Breakker last week.

Bron Breakker vs Dominik Mysterio

Breakker instantly gets Mysterio into the corner before throwing him out of the ring and approaching him on the outside. Breakker backs off Carlito and Balor and back in the ring with a huge clothesline to Mysterio. Judgment Day pulls Mysterio out of the ring as he tries to call time out. Breakker chases Mysterio on the outside but Mysterio gets the boots to Breakker. Tries to lift him but no, Breakker reverses and hits Mysterio with a back drop.  Balor and Carlito get involved giving Mysterio a little space to hit a suicide dive to Breakker by the announce table. It’s three-on-one and Mysterio is still barely hanging in. Breakker presses Mysterio over his head but Carlito to the apron. Mysterio with a dropkick and 619 to Breakker before climbing to the top. Breakker up fast and follows Mysterio to the top. Huge Frankensteiner from Breakker but no, Judgment Day drag Breakker from the ring and drag him into the steps. Finally, the match is called and all three members of Judgment Day lay boots to Breakker in the ring. But Breakker’s still fighting and hits Carlito with a spear before he and Balor come face-to-face on the mat. Balor, with chair in hand, retreats. Seems Balor wants a piece of Breakker himself. More to come there.

Cricket Highlight of the Night shows the Rock and Rhodes on SmackDown from Friday. Rhodes is shown backstage as it looks like he’s about to hit the ring and share some thoughts on what happened on Friday. On to a commercial break and we’re greeted with Redmond in the crowd with New Day for an interview at their request. They shoo Redmond away and show how quickly they got into their street clothes because they are ready to leave Cincy ASAP. Yet, they are still there for that interview…Woods says they beat the crap out of Mysterio and LwO and he knows Cincy doesn’t have experience with winning, but it makes you kinda tired. So next week, New Day is going on vacation. Backstage with Nile and the Creeds as Cathy Kelley approaches. Nile says she has one goal and it’s to win championship gold. Next week, the Creeds get another shot at the world tag titles and she’ll continue to go after Valkyria until she gets her shot. War Raiders with an attack on the brothers.

Rhodes and Rollins

Back to the action as Raw sings Rhodes to the ring. The champ says he knows what he’s supposed to talk about. It seems rather abstract to ask for one man’s soul but Rhodes thinks he can read between the lines having grown up in this business. He knows the offer Rock has made him. He says he’s never lied to the fans and he’s not going to start but he needs them to know how blessed he is. He’s not a team of one and this decision he has to make at Elimination Chamber affects so many people including his family and his father’s memory. He says this offer is everything he would fight to get but the Rock is saying he could have it without having to go through those hoops. And as expected, the interruption from another man the crowd wants to sing to the ring. Seth Rollins makes his way out and stares down Rhodes before getting a mic of his own. Rollins says this is the first time the two of them have been in the same ring in nearly a year. The last time was WrestleMania 40 and he’d love to welcome Rhodes to his show, Monday Night Rollins, but he can’t do that. He’d love to congratulate Rhodes and tell him how proud he is, to shake his hand, and to get excited for the two of them to wrestle in the main event of WrestleMania, but he can’t. He’s out there to ask Rhodes what he is thinking even entertaining the Rock’s offer. Rollins reminds Rhodes they stood side-by-side against the Rock and Roman Reigns. But now the Rock is back and wants Rhodes to sell his soul. Rollins says it’s a slap in his face that Rhodes didn’t slap Rock on the spot. He says don’t make him regret everything he sacrificed to help Rhodes win the title. Rollins asks what it’s all worth – a bit part in a few movies, extra social media followers. Is the title becoming a burden for him? Rhodes says he wished the conversation was going differently as he wishes he could give him the gratitude but Rollins is being judgmental. Rock didn’t ask for Rollins’ soul because he knows it’s already compromised. Rhodes says he knows who Rollins is. Rollins is the guy who wished Rhodes well before he left to get surgery before hitting him with a sledgehammer. He’s the guy who destroyed the Shield with a chair in the back before joining up with the Authority to run people like him out of WWE. Rhodes says he knows who Rollins is and he knows that he was his shield at WrestleMania, his brother, because he helped him achieve his dream. Rollins was the MVP of WrestleMania 40. Rollins said he wasn’t out there to judge Rhodes and maybe in some ways he was there to protect him from making the same mistakes Rollins made all those years ago. He said he’s been filled with hate from making this mistakes but he doesn’t want to hate Rhodes. Rollins says this is Rhodes’ decision to make but the man he wants to face at WrestleMania isn’t a soulless shell of the man, it’s the Rhodes who came back and beat him, who took him to his limit and beat him with one arm, the one he helped become champ. Rollins says Rhodes will do what he wants but that’s what Rollins wants. He’s not coming for his soul, but he is coming for his title.

That was heated and powerful. And a Shield namedrop in there too for bonus points. Whether Rhodes takes Rock’s offer (he won’t) or not, a Rhodes/Rollins rematch at WrestleMania or elsewhere is definitely one to look forward to in 2025.

Sneak peek of an interview with Paul from the countdown special on Saturday before a rundown of the chamber card. Next up, the main event but before that, a video package airs to hype up the match and growing animosity between these four women.

Challengers out first as we head to the final commercial of the night. Morgan with the mic to welcome fans to Monday Night Morgan. She says this is a big week for her as not only is she gonna win the chamber on Saturday, but tonight her and Rodriguez become the first-ever three-time women’s tag team champions. That means that they are the greatest women’s tag champs of all time. She says if the fans don’t like it, they can cry about it, but she’d recommend they watch her instead.

Back from the break, Tozawa is getting some medical attention as Uso walks by and says he respects him. Austin Theory and Grayson Waller run into Uso saying he only cares about himself. They ask if he has anything to say for himself and Uso yeets with the crowd. Waller says Uso is nothing more than a meme and he simply has the crowd yeet them instead. But Waller continues saying everyone in the back knows he’s not on Gunther’s level and he’s gonna get embarrassed. Uso continues his line about how everyone is doubting him. He says he will beat Gunther as Theory kinda yeets with him causing a little tension between the boys. Uso returns to kick Waller and then yeet him off.

Next week on Raw. Ripley vs SKY for the women’s title and War Raiders vs Creed Brothers announced. Back in the ring, Naomi and Belair make their entrances, Alicia Taylor introduces the competitors, and we’re off.

Women’s Tag Team Championship: Naomi and Bianca Belair vs Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez

Before the bell rings, Naomi and Belair go after Morgan and Rodriguez, sending them both into the barricade. Belair and Morgan in the ring to start and Belair is hot. Quick tag to Naomi for the double team. Tag back in to Belair and more double team moves. Belair with a near fall but Morgan kicks out. Belair takes Morgan to the mat but Morgan fights back and Rodriguez on the outside to take out Belair. Rodriguez legal, throws Belair into the barricade and continues the assault on the outside. Back in the ring, Rodriguez with the tag to Morgan, who lays the boots to the champ in the corner. Rodriguez back in with Belair still isolated in the corner. Tag back into Morgan, who goes to the top rope and gets a near fall. Morgan with Belair in the ropes before the one, two, but no three amigos. Belair with the counter and vertical suplex. Morgan quick tag to Rodrgiuez, pulling her away from a tag to Naomi. So close. Rodriguez with Belair up but Belair is fighting and finally gets the tag. Naomi gets Rodriguez to the mat before leg drop to Morgan. Naomi to the apron for a springboard, taking Rodriguez out but no she kicks out at two. Naomi with a crossbody but Rodriguez catches her. Naomi regains control though and hits a blockbuster before tagging in Belair for a huge 450 off the top. Rodriguez kicks out. Belair gets Rodriguez up but can’t get the KOD. Morgan back in with a codebreaker off the top but somehow Belair kicks out. Morgan can’t believe it. Oblivion blocked. Naomi back in and there’s the double team but no, Mysterio with the distraction to allow Rodriguez to take out the champs. Morgan with Oblivion to Naomi but Belair breaks it up at the last second. Belair with a huge spear to Rodriguez and everybody is down on the mat. “This is Awesome” chants. Morgan to her feet first but Naomi tags in Belair who gets Morgan up but no counter and roll up for a near fall. Belair with the KOD but Rodriguez breaks it up. Naomi and Rodriguez fighting on the apron as the crowd chants “Holy shit.” Naomi is legal. Champs with the double team to Morgan but Mysterio gets her leg on the rope. Belair goes after Mysterio on the outside by Rodriguez throws her into the announce table. Naomi takes out Rodriguez and almost gets Naomi but Morgan reverses for a roll up. Naomi kicks out. Mysterio on the apron but Naomi takes him out. Rodriguez takes out Naomi on the ropes and throws her into the ring post and Morgan rolls over for the cover. And new….

That was a crazy finish, but we’ve been saying it for weeks. Judgment Day is fine, and now Judgment Day are champs.

Fireworks for the new champs and that’s a wrap for tonight.
