WWE Raw Preview for Raw results from WWE Raw tonight (2/24/25) - Women's Tag Team Championship On The Line

Women’s Tag Team Championship Ends with History-Making Moment

After a week that saw the Rock bulldoze women’s segments on SmackDown and a #WWEWomenDeserveBetter trend on social media in response to women’s wrestlers’ complaining about less than equal airtime, Monday Night Raw sought to remedy some of that concern with the Women’s Tag Team Championship. And they did so with an absolute banger of a main event between women’s tag team champions, Naomi and Bianca Belair vs the challengers, Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, and Dominik Mysterio. And yet while those four women blew the roof off the house, it was once again Dirty Dom who managed to keep his lady happy at the end of the night. And in the process, Mysterio did two things: put Judgment Day on top once again and helped Morgan and Rodriguez make history.

#AndNew: Morgan and Rodriguez (with help from Dom) defeat Naomi and Belair for the Women’s Tag Team Championship

The Women’s Tag Team Championship match was hot from before the bell even rang as Naomi and Belair immediately went after Morgan and Rodriguez sending them both into the barricade. Rodriguez was sent into the timekeeper’s area where she stayed for a bit, allowing the champs to isolate Morgan in a repeat of what we might see when all three women enter the Elimination Chamber on Saturday. Belair and Naomi took advantage early, able to double team Morgan while Rodriguez was on the outside. Back Morgan fought back and eventually, Rodriguez got back into the match and it was her and Morgan able to isolate Belair in the corner, preventing a tag.

There were some early near falls from both teams in the Women’s Tag Team Championship match but the action really started to pick up after Belair hit a huge 450 off the top rope onto Rodriguez after Morgan was unable to complete the Three Amigos on Belair a few sequences earlier. Rodriguez kicked out and prevented Belair from following up with the KOD. This allowed Morgan the chance to hit a huge Codebreaker off the top but Belair was able to kick out. The action continued pretty back-and-forth as Belair blocked Oblivion and was able to tag in Naomi for some more double team maneuvers. But that’s when things started to get out of hand as Mysterio arrived with a distraction.

Naomi and Belair weren’t really able to regain their momentum after that as Judgment Day used their three-on-two numbers to their advantage. Every time it looked like the champs had the match won, Mysterio was there to save it for Judgment Day. But to their credit, Rodriguez and Morgan also worked their way out of some huge spots with Morgan reversing several pinfall attempts into near falls of her own. As the crowd fully got into the match, the chaotic finish of the Women’s Tag Team Championship match ensued. The champs double teamed Morgan but Mysterio got her foot on the ropes before Naomi could complete the what surely would have been winning pin. So Belair chased Mysterio down on the outside, allowing Rodriguez the opportunity to throw her into the announce table. Back in the ring, Mysterio with another distraction on the apron, but Naomi knocked him off. Again, this allowed Rodriguez the chance to take out Naomi by throwing her head into the ring post. All four women were exhausted so lifelessly, as Naomi fell off the ropes, Morgan simply rolled over her for the cover. Nothing fancy, but it was all the challengers needed to become the new champions.

The win marks the third Women’s Tag Team Championship reign for Morgan and Rodriguez, which makes them the first-ever women’s tag team to win the title three times. This continues a fantastic several months for Morgan which saw her become the first-ever Women’s Crown Jewel Champion in November, last over one hour in the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble, and qualify for yet another Elimination Chamber. She is the only woman in WWE to have wrestled in each women’s singles chamber. Whether it’s as world champion or now as women’s tag team champion, it looks like Morgan will have a Road to WrestleMania. Now you just have to do what she says and watch her. You won’t regret it.
