On the January 20, 2025 edition of Monday Night Raw, WWE announced a few things for WWE Raw next week including the much-anticipated Raw on Netflix debut of Logan Paul, an appearance by world champion Cody Rhodes, and the tag team title showdown between Judgment Day’s JD McDonagh and Dominik Mysterio and the War Raiders. All this on top of the already announced celebration of the Tribal Chief.
WWE Raw Next Week (1/27/25)
Logan Paul is Coming to Raw
The wrestling world has been abuzz ever since Logan Paul announced his intent to become a full-time WWE superstar. The past few weeks have seen various vignettes airing on Raw to hype up Paul’s return to WWE. On Monday, it was announced that Paul would be making his Raw on Netflix debut next week. It’s unknown if Paul will be in action or if he’ll just be there to rile up the crowd, but either way, it should be entertaining. Paul is committed to becoming the best wrestler he can be, claiming that he will conquer wrestling the way he has conquered everything else he’s set out to do in his life. Monday will be the start of that journey.
Cody Rhodes Returns
Cody Rhodes has a big ladder match coming up against Kevin Owens and the two are set to sign the contract for that match on Saturday Night’s Main Event. But before then, Rhodes returns to Raw, likely with a lot to say about Owens, the match, and his stolen title belt. Rhodes may also have thoughts on Owens’ little proposition for Sami Zayn.
War Raiders vs Judgment Day
The War Raiders are ready and willing to take on all comers, including a rematch with the Judgment Day. Only this time, it won’t be Finn Balor and JD McDonagh, it will be McDonagh and Dominik Mysterio in action. It’s hard to say if this will be a benefit or a detriment to Judgment Day but it will showcase two young and up-and-coming talents against two grizzled veterans. Erik and Ivar have certainly accrued some miles in their careers and they’ll put that experience to the test against the youthfulness of Mysterio and McDonagh. And of course, the extracurriculars of the rest of Judgment Day, who no doubt will make their presence known on Monday.
The 2K Cover Reveal?
On the Raw on Netflix debut, it was teased that Roman Reigns is set to be announced as the cover star for the upcoming WWE 2K25 game. Both Reigns and Paul Heyman are set to be at Raw for a Tribal Chief celebration, something that could well provide the backdrop for the cover reveal and perhaps a full teaser for the game. Fans are anxiously awaiting what’s next for 2K25 and it seems by next week, we’ll have more answers on that front.
