The January 17, 2025, episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown was much anticipated for a specific reason. After losing Tribal Combat and the Ula Fala, Solo Sikoa was going to appear live and address the crowd.
He made his way to the ring but then did something unexpected. As he tried to talk, boos rained down, making him very frustrated. He did the infamous mic drop, then climbed out of the ring and walked backstage. Even though we didn’t hear from Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu cut an incredible promo promising destruction for everyone.
But what was on Solo’s mind during his brief time with the microphone? Was he too ashamed to speak, or is there perhaps another reason why he didn’t stick around too long? There are a lot of scenarios that could play out, making Solo Sikoa’s next move extremely unpredictable.
Solo Sikoa Knows He Disappointed His Bloodline
If you were to ask any member of the OG Bloodline about the members of Solo’s Bloodline, they would all have the same answer. They’re very dangerous and horrible people, which is why Solo got them in the first place.
He thought he was going to run over Roman and the OG Bloodline and take everything away from them. Not only did he get pinned at WarGames, but he also lost Tribal Combat and the Ula Fala.
In baseball, you get three strikes, and you’re out. The same could also be said about Solo and his position with his Bloodline. There’s a huge amount of evidence supporting him getting kicked out, so his leaving was an attempt to avoid confrontation altogether.
That might work for now, but sooner or later, Solo will have to face the wrath of his creation.
He Has Learned His Lesson and Wants a New Start
It may be less exciting, but there’s another way for Solo to leave his Bloodline without getting betrayed. When Roman Reigns lost at WrestleMania XL, he took his place on the top of the mountain.
He was unchallenged and unstoppable, but that all changed when Roman returned at SummerSlam. Ever since then, he’s been on a descent back down, reaching the bottom at the Raw on Netflix premiere. Everything he took is now gone and back in Roman’s possession.
His walking out on Friday could be a sign that he has learned from his power trip. This opens the door for him to apologize to Roman for everything he’s done since last April. Doing so could lift his spirits and set him up for a redemption storyline with the OG Bloodline.
For Solo Sikoa to regain his confidence, he might have to go back to where his story began.
Solo Sikoa is at a Fork in the Road
Whatever path he ends up choosing, last Friday marked a major character shift for Solo. He was no longer the arrogant and confident person everyone knew. Instead of boasting or vowing revenge, he left without a word.
There’s a lot of conflicting thoughts going around in his head. Will he speak with his Bloodline knowing there’s a high chance of him getting kicked out?
Should he talk with Roman Reigns and the OG Bloodline in an attempt to mend a shattered bond? Over the past nine months, he has lost everything that made him a dominant force. That’s obviously been affecting his mood and thought process, contributing to his demeanor on Friday.
No matter what Solo Sikoa ends up doing, it’s going to impact his role in the Bloodline saga in a significant way.
