WWE SummerSlam: Jesse, Jelly Roll and More To Feature

WWE SummerSlam: Jesse, Jelly Roll and More To Feature

‘The Biggest Party of the Summer’ WWE SummerSlam will see scorching hot feuds come to a head in Cleveland Browns Stadium. Outside the ring, there are massive moments set to take place on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at WWE SummerSlam.

Hometown boy The Miz will host the show, which could lead to some sort of celebrity interaction, perhaps with a Cleveland Browns player. But that’s pure speculation.

Cody Rhodes defends the Undisputed WWE Championship against Solo Sikoa. Gunther challenges Damian Priest for the World Heavyweight Championship.

But there are some pure entertainment moments set to take place at WWE SummerSlam.

Slim Jim’s Most Savage Moment of the Summer

WWE will reveal the Slim Jim Most Savage Moment of the Summer during WWE SummerSlam. WWE has been asking fans to vote for the most savage moment from its summer content.

Fans can vote online between Drew McIntyre ruining CM Punk’s homecoming; Liv Morgan’s Revenge Tour; LA Knight invading Logan Paul’s home; or Nia Jax’s beatdown on Bayley from WWE Smackdown on July 5.

Punk faces McIntyre, LA Knight challenges for Paul’s United States Championship and Bayley defends her WWE Women’s Championship against Jax at SummerSlam.

Slim Jim originally partnered with WWE through commercials featuring “Macho Man” Randy Savage. Last year, it sponsored a SummerSlam battle royal with the winner – LA Knight – getting a Slim Jim branded car.

Jelly Roll Provides The Soundtrack To WWE SummerSlam

Heavyweight country artist Jelly Roll has gifted the WWE two tracks for SummerSlam. “Dead End Road” and “Liar” are both official SummerSlam theme songs by Jelly Roll.

The latter “Liar” is surely written about Dominik Mysterio, who some fear will turn on Rhea Ripley when she faces Liv Morgan for the Women’s World Championship at SummerSlam. Jelly Roll will be in attendance.

So mid-card heel wrestlers should look out because the last time he was seen at a WWE show he took out JD McDonagh and Mysterio.

Jesse “The Body” Ventura

Jesse “The Body” Ventura returned to WWE during WWE Raw this week. Ventura was the special guest referee in a triple-threat WWE Championship match at SummerSlam 1999.

He made the fatal count that awarded Mankind the WWE Championship over “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and Triple H. Controversial within WWE, he once won a legal case for unpaid royalties and set up the wrestler’s court.

Both things Vince McMahon wouldn’t have been hot on. It seems weird for Ventura to step out of a car on WWE Raw, hug Triple H, and then not appear on SummerSlam.

Keep your eyes peeled.

Potential Cleveland Browns Appearance

With WWE SummerSlam taking place at Cleveland Browns Stadium, we are bound to see team members in attendance. Or perhaps even getting into a physical interaction with a WWE star.

David Njoku’s connections to WWE go beyond his occasional Dave Batista-inspired celebrations. The Cleveland Browns Tight End has been seen backstage at WWE Raw, his brother Evidence’s WWE trial, and spoke with The Miz about his WWE fandom.

On Saturday, he hosts a celebrity softball game. WWE Tag Team Champion Johnny Gargano and his wife, Candice LeRae, will hit some balls for Njoku.

Perhaps he’ll make a SummerSlam appearance in return. Njoku’s teammate, Miles Garrett, and Ohio-born, Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl winner/ main squeeze of Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce, are also playing softball on Saturday.

Both would be a real coup if WWE could sort an appearance.
